The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

In the Garden of Eden there was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Most of us know the story of how Adam ate from the tree that he was not suppose to eat from.

Of course all is not lost, for even thou Adam’s one offense condemned all mankind, Christ obedience shall constituted all mankind just.

Some people say the tree was a bad tree, there is nothing in the bible that says it is a bad tree. The tree it’s self was not a bad tree, the tree was not rotten, the fruit had not gone bad.

By eating of the tree Adam and Eve would find out what was good and what was evil. This knowledge was not all gain at once, but after eating from the tree they had gain some knowledge. I am not saying they gain the knowledge from the fruit itself. What I am saying is that they gain it directly after. They would gain more knowledge of good and evil once they left the garden. It took time for them to gain the knowledge by experience.

Surely they had already experience good in the garden already. That is true, but they did not know it was good. If you don’t experience evil, then how can you know what you experience is good. You need to have something to compare it to, to know it is good.

Thus once they left the garden they started to experience evil. However they could not go back to the garden to experience those good times again. The entrance way to the garden was blocked.

If you have read my articles before this should came as no surprise, what I am about to say, the fact is God was in control the whole time. Who was the one who place the tree in the garden? Come on this is an easy one, it was God. Who was the one who told them not to eat from the tree? This is another easy one, it was God again. Now God could have not place the tree their at all. There was a reason it was place there.

Now some might say it was place there, because God trusted Adam and Eve not to break His command. God had no idea that He could not trust Adam or Eve. Or it was a test, which they final horrible. None of these are true, the first one assumes that God does not know that Adam and Eve can not be trusted. This is untrue, God knew what they where like, He knew whether or not He could trust them with the tree. The second implies it was some sort of test, as long as they did not eat from the tree, they passed. This was no test, if it had been God would know that they would eat from the tree, He did not need a test to find this out. God place the tree there so that they would eat from the tree, not so they would not eat from it. He knew they would eat from it.

Now there is a lot of material written about Satan and how he surprise the unsuspecting God, and convinced Adam to eat from the tree. These are all completely wrong, they imply that God was not in control, and that God could not control Satan, and that God did not know what Satan was doing. This is all completely wrong, God knew what Satan was doing, God could and can control Satan, God is in control of Satan. Thus God used Satan to do what He wanted Satan to do.

This is because God want mankind to experience both good and evil. One day we will all only experience the good, but we will remember the evil.
