About Open Door Ministry

The Open Door Ministry is the time of bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to all nations. According to Dr Jones “The greatest era is yet ahead of us to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to all nations” I beg to differ. Surely the greatest era is when all have salvation, but maybe he means before the return of Christ. It will be the greatest era so far. Anyway a number of us who are members of the body of Christ will have great work ahead of us during this time. It will be a time of travel, as members of the body go on trips to get the Gospel out to all nations.
According to Dr Jones the date for it to start is 9 September 2010 US time. If you want watch dates the best site to go is God Kingdom Ministries, and go to the weblog that has daily articles by Dr Jones. While he is correct a lot about watch dates there are several major points to do with the future that I do not agree with him on.
Anyway back to the Open Door Ministry, a few years ago, early on after finding out about All Mankind saved, I had a revelation. I was to tell the world about my love for God, and of course God’s love for everybody. I do think this could be connected to the Open Door Ministry. Which means I could be one of the ones making trips to other nations and around my own backyard, New Zealand. If that happens the site will take a back seat, however the work for the Open Door Ministry, will be of more importance as not only getting the word out about the gospel, but also warning people about the return of Christ.
Dr Jones thinks there is going to be some sort of destruction to Jerusalem during this time, along with a nuclear war in the middle east and nuclear fall out reach as far as the USA. While there are all sorts of war signs out there at the moment and threats of war, I do not believe there is going to be an all out nuclear war before Christ returns. I am not ruling out further wars, but I do not believe in an all out nuclear war. Will Iran be attacked, I do not know. But I do not think there will be nuclear strikes, I could be wrong but I do not believe in an all out nuclear war. One thing I do know is that modern day Jerusalem will not be destroyed before the Lord returns.
For the destruction of Mystery Babylon and ancient Jerusalem as detailed in the book of Revelation has already occurred. For the events up to and including the destruction of Babylon the great city, was the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman Army. Where people go wrong is they think the army in Revelation 19 is a future army with soldiers and tanks and stuff going to battle modern day Jerusalem. After this destruction in 70 AD the reign of Jesus Christ as detailed in Revelation 20 started.
In Revelation 20 all the nations come up against the beloved city, to do battle. The beloved city is actually spiritual Jerusalem, not an actual city.
Revelation 20:8 And he {Satan} will be coming out to deceive all the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to be mobilizing them for battle, their number being as the sand of the sea. {CLV}
Satan’s army is massive, but it will not be attacking physical Jerusalem.
Revelation 20:9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and surround the citadel of the saints and the beloved city. {CLV}
This is not talking about some actual city. While there will be an actual kingdom of heavens in the future that descends out of Heaven, this is not what it is talking about. The beloved city here is the body of Christ, for the body of Christ is spiritually the kingdom of the heavens, the new Jerusalem, the citadel of the saints and the beloved city.
It is my strong believe that as the Body of Christ gets the gospel out there more Satan’s army will come against us. The body will get the gospel out there in a really big way, why else would Satan be raising a massive army to come against the body of Christ. You should not worry about that, Christ and God are on the side of the body of Christ. However what it does reveal is that most of the world will be against the body of Christ. What happens to this army?
Revelation 20:9 …..And fire descended from God out of heaven and devoured them. {CLV}
Not only will Christ return as a flaming fire, actual fire will descend out of heaven. This is not the end for them, for there is the resurrection of the dead to come, and there salvation as they spiritually go through the Lake of Fire.
Dr Jones talks of a two year delay from 2008 to the war with Iran and a two year delay to the Open Door Ministry, in a recent weblog {07/13/2010 Headwaters Trip Report}. Then he says this about the upcoming war with Iran and recent oil spill in the gulf:
“ Nonetheless, the time has come for us to say "enough is enough." This is a war in the heavens between the Holy Spirit and the counterfeit "holy" spirit, between the olive oil and the crude oil, between the River of the Holy Spirit and the poison in the Gulf.” {Dr Jones}
Maybe there is a message here that he is not seeing, yes this is a war in the heavens. And that is why the army will come against the body of Christ, not physical Jerusalem. For there is going to be a massive spiritual war.
“God's intent is to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, and we have understood this for many years to be the time when the Gospel of the Kingdom would go out in an unprecedented way.” {Dr Jones}
This does sound like the time of my vision to tell the world.
“The war and the Open Door Ministry appear to be tied together, as God raises up His work in the midst of the storm. As trying times come, God increases His grace and power of the Spirit in order to allow us to cope with the new challenges.” {Dr Jones}
What Dr Jones does not know yet, is Satan’s army and the Open Door Ministry are tied together. As God raises up His work, Satan is raising up his army, to come against the body of Christ, the true believers, the saints, the chosen.
“The only real important issue is to be on the right side of the conflict. Most Christians have not done their homework well enough to know the Divine Plan in this. So they have put themselves into a precarious position and are liable to be hurt in varying degrees. But you are the children of the light and can trust in God's protection.” {Dr Jones}
Sorry Dr Jones, but you make it sound like a choice, it is not. You can not choice which side to be on in the conflict. Most Christians are blind to the truth, because Christ has not revealed it to them. They can not chose which side to be on.
According to Dr Jones {07/16/2010 Barley Works in 144 Hours} we should be watching for the ninth sign of Elisha, that of Provision {2 Kings 4:42-4}. He relates it to “the provision necessary to do the Open Door Ministry that lies ahead.”
This could mean many things, but it could relate to my recent revelation about “All Will be revealed” but I could be wrong. I think before the Open Door Ministry starts there will be great revelation, to the body, I am not sure how many will get the revelations. However before the work starts I feel we as a body need to all believe the same as to what is going to happen in the future. At the moment many in the body are wrong about what is going to happen. I do not think it would be good for us to be all teaching different thinks to the nations. Thus “All Will Be Revealed” before the open door ministry starts. I could be wrong, not long to wait and see.

Update: March 2011: While the date for the ministry has now past, that does not mean it is not coming, just that the date was wrong. The ministry is still coming.
