The Counters and Library Dreams

11 January 2014

By Mark Farquharson

Back on the 29 August 2012, I had a dream about a library, more recently I had another dream about counters in a shop or somewhere. My thinking is that these two dreams could be related.

In the library dream, I go through these two doors that look like gates at the front of the library. Then I proceed to the second counter. I look back at the first counter by the doors. On the counter in front of me is food. The lady behind the counter offers me the food, but I refuse. She offers me a second time and I refuse, the third time, I wake up.

I thought that there was some reason I do not take the food. Like it was the wrong time, or was it the wrong food, and I had to wait for the right food.

Then I got the sign at the Henderson library when a woman behind the counter said that her watch stopped at 11:30 last night. Since then I was trying to work out what that meant. On the 1 Nov. 2013, a man come at 11 a.m. to buy a TV, for $30, and he left at 11:30. Thus my thinking is that 11:30 was 30 Nov. 2013. I did get signs on the 29 and 30 Nov. relating to food. However the counter that I got the sign of 11:30, was the first counter you come to in the library, by the doors.

In the latest dream on the 10 January 2014, I am at the second counter in what appears to be a shop. I am told that I am at the wrong counter, at which point I go to the first count. Then I am directed to what I am after, maps I think, dream ends.

If the two are related, is it that the second counter in the library dream is the wrong counter, and that is why I do not take of the food. That being the case, is it now that I have come to the first counter, because I got the 11:30 sign at the first counter and the sign of the TV indicating that 11:30 was Nov 30. Thus I should now be on my way to what I want. On the 28 Nov. 2012 I did ask about maps at the front counter in a library, but that was a different library, although still a library. I was directed up stairs, but then I find them in the front entrance.

The other sign I got at the Henderson library on the 7 Feb. 2013, was that the travel section was the 900 section. This was not at the first counter, but was after I had passed the travel section. When I had gone passed I asked a librarian where the travel section was. She said it was the 900 section, and lead me to the section. I do not know if that indicates a number of days.
