Bible shows the opposite of freewill from beginning

By Mark Farquharson

This is my view on this, and is given for information, it is my thinking on this… you can have a different view…

First a definition of Free-will

free will

The ability to make choices independently of any external determining force

and then to be able to freely exercise these choices…

Did God give us this freedom?

Lets look, at Adam and Eve and see if there are external determining forces, influence them from the beginning…

Eve was tempted by Satan, to eat of the tree. She did not do it out of any free will choice… The Tree was place there to tempt her, and Satan came tempting her. Yes she had a choice, but she was persuaded….

This is what God wanted to happen…

After they eat the apples from the tree of Knowledge, could they then chose to stay in the garden of Eden? Could they exercise their free will and stay in the garden?

NO… God tossed them out..

Where they free after that to go back to the garden if they want to?

NO…. God place cherubs in the way… They could not go back, they could decide that they want to go back, but they could not exercise their free will and go back. They could have had the will to do this, but they could not exercise it…

But apart from that where they not free… in a word “No”

Did not God tell them to multiply? They where influence to have kids…

Have you ever heard of a “study of names”?

You can do a study of bible names.. bible names have meanings…

This means that the name Abel, has a meaning… also Cain, and Seth have meanings… {Seth the kid Adam had that you don’t here much about}

This shows that Adam and Eve where influence to give there kids these names…

The Kids of Adam and Eve, knew about God and this influenced their decisions, as we see in the story of Cain and Abel.. they both made offerings to God…

And God continued to interfere in the lives of humans through out the bible…

You just have to look at Cain and Abel… God was the one who got Cain all mad…

And to look at Noah, Abraham, Moses, and everybody else…

God did not wait for Moses to call out to him…. God put the bush on fire… God knew Moses would look….

God did not ask Noah, “please could you build a boat, up to you really, it is you choice”,

No clear then nothing would get done… God picked Noah….and told Noah what he was going to do… and told Noah to build the Ark….

God did not ask the people if they would like to die in a world-wide flood did he?

Did God give us free-will, did God give us this freedom?- NO!

I will post more on the myth of free will.. That’s what I said… myth.. fairy tale…later….
