Let My People Go

Exodus 8:1 Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh,—then shalt thou say unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh,—Let my people go, that they may serve me. {REB}

Moses said this a number of times to Pharaoh, however Pharaoh would not let the people go. There were 10 plagues before Pharaoh let the people go. Then He went after them. However his chariots were destroyed when they when to cross the parted sea.

It is now come up to the time of another exodus this time from spiritual Egypt. The question then is, will there be another ten plagues this time around? They do not have to be the same plagues, it is not the actual nation of Egypt I am talking about. Will those who are spiritually Moses say to spiritual Pharaoh, “Thus, saith Yahweh,—Let my people go, that they may serve me.”

Does then this indicate some sort of spiritual warfare in the near future? I do not think me will have to wait long to see.

Those then who are spiritual Israel that are still trapped in spiritual Egypt will be let go, and cross over the sea. Those who are spiritual Egypt will not be able to follow. If they do try to come after, they will find themselves destroyed.

While ancient Israel built a golden calf, and spent forty years in the wilderness, it does not mean these things will be repeated. All patterns do not repeat, and if something does repeat there are differences. Also new things occur which are not a repeat of the pattern. I do not think we have to wait another forty years for Jesus to return. This means that there will not be the forty years in the wilderness.
