If you are?

1 "Verily, verily, I am saying to you, he who is not entering through the door into the fold of the sheep, but is climbing up elsewhere, that one is a thief and a robber.

2 Now he who is entering through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. CLV

In this passage he is not acutely talking about sheep. He is talking about people, Jesus is the Sheppard of people, if you get what I mean. He leads and guides them. The sheep represent people.

It is the same below, certain words represent something else. I will try to explain:

If you are in darkness

You need light

I am not talking about being out at night or at home at night with out the lights on. This world is filled with darkness, spirit darkness. I don’t just mean that most of the world is in darkness about what the truth is. That spiritually speaking they themselves are in darkness, and they need light. Your mind can be filled with darkness, dark thoughts and imaginations, and if you are in this condition then you need light. If you are in this condition of course you need light, the light of Jesus Christ. Yes that is part of what I am talking about, but also all around you there is darkness. When you turn on a light the darkness goes. If you turn on the light of Jesus Christ the darkness in you mind goes, and the darkness around you also goes.

If you are blind

I don’t mean if you are physical blind, I am talking about being spiritual blind. You can be spiritual blind to the truth . You don’t know the truth and you are blind to it, which means you can’t see it.

14 Leave them! Blind guides are they of the blind! Now if the blind should be guiding the blind, both shall be falling into a pit." CLV

These people Jesus was referring to are spiritually blind, and so were their teachers.

You need someone to open your eyes

Yes when your in this situation someone needs to open you eyes. The only person who can do this is Christ, however he does usually do it indirectly through another person. Jesus Christ will use someone who knows the truth to open a person’s eyes.

If you are deaf

You need someone to unblock your ears

If you are spiritual deaf, then you can not hear the truth, and you need you condition to be fix.

If you are lost

You need someone to find you

If you are spiritually lost, then you are out in the wilderness and need someone to find you. Jesus will search until he has found you. Of course he knows where you are, he knows this all to well. He knows where you are physical, and he also knows where you are spiritually. What I mean is that he will never give up on you, and he will bring you back to the fold, where the other sheep are that he has find already. I mean he will show you the way, the way to the truth, the truth spiritual path, the way home, your truth spiritual home.

If you are dead

You need someone to make you alive

Of course if you are physically dead you need someone to raise you from the dead, and this will happen in the future, and if you are dead physically then there is no way you can read this, at the moment.

However you can be physically alive, but spiritually dead. You need someone to change your spiritual condition, so that you are spiritually alive.

If you are a sleep

You need someone to waken you

I am not talking about being physically a sleep. I am also not talking about the condition you in when you are dead. I will mention this briefly however. When you are dead physically, your body is dead, however your spirit is not dead. You spirit is actually a sleep, Jesus was correct when he refer to someone who had died, as being a sleep. When he raised a person from the dead he a woke their spirit which was a sleep.

However you can also be spiritual speaking a sleep. You need someone to awaken you out of this condition.

If you have a carnal mind

You need a spiritual one

A carnal mind is one that is focused on the things of this world, one that is focused on filling your own desires. It is not focused on spiritual matters. A carnal mind can be fill of evil doing, it can be focused on sin. You will have sin fill thoughts and imagine sin fill actions. Your mind needs to be changed so that it will focus on spiritual matters.

If you have a body of flesh

You need a spiritual body

Of course you have a actual body of flesh, and one day you will get a body that is not made of flesh. However if you mind thinks about those things of the flesh, then you need to change that.

If you are old man

You need to be a new man

I don’t mean if you are hundred years old, a person who is this age can be a new man, and a young person of twenty can be an old man, spiritually speaking that is. A new man is someone who knows the truth, they have be renewed spiritually, however there actual body is not new.

If you are an old creation

You need to be a new one

An old creation is someone who is old spiritually speaking. The old creation is your condition before you know the truth, before God has changed your condition that you are in from birth. The old creation needs to die, and the new creation take over. If you know and believe the truth you are a new creation.
