Being Immortal

Soon those who have been chosen, those who truly believe that Christ died for their sins, will become immortal. This will happen when Christ returns, to the earth. Unlike in movies and television programs where the immortal person can still die, there is no way that these people will be able to die. In the Highlander movies there was away that the immortal people could die, which means they where not really immortal. The recent movie Mummy 3, hand two immortal women that give up their immortally, however there will be no way to give up immortally in the future. Besides if you where immortal would you really want to give up your immortally, I don’t think so. The other factor is that, the immortal body will be different to your old body of flesh.

Now if you one of those who think that only those who truly believe will become immortal think again. One day, that person you pass in the street, that homeless person living under a bridge, that drunk, that murder, that prostitute will also be immortal. That’s right one day everyone will be immortal, that is everyone who ever lived will be immortal one day, no matter how bad a person they where. Those people mentioned in Revelation, that are outside the kingdom, will one day be inside the kingdom.

Revelation 21:8 Yet the timid, and unbelievers, and the abominable, and murderers, and paramours, and enchanters, and idolaters, and all the false-their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulphur, which is the second death." CLV

Of course not everyone gets into the kingdom at the same time, not everyone becomes immortal at the same time. Those who don’t get into the kingdom at the great Throne Judgement go to the Lake of Fire. After their time in the lake of fire, they too will become immortal.

They will be in the kingdom with you, they will be drinking next to you, they will be eating next to you. And they will have been saved just like you, they will have been transformed, and spiritual born, like you. However if you don’t truly believe in the death of Christ for you sins, then you will also go to the lake, and be with them, in the lake after the Judgement.

Now you may ask why there is eating and drinking in the kingdom if you immortal? Surely you don’t have to eat and drink if your immortal? That is correct, it is good you are paying attention. You will not have to eat and drink to stay immortal, however if you want to eat and drink, there will be food and drink, up to you really.
