Who Has Salvation?

Who is saved? It seems a simple enough question, but the answer may surprise you, unless you have read of this before. Most believers would think that all believers are saved, however that is not the case, for no one has salvation. How can I say no one has salvation?

Christ death and resurrection brought salvation for all mankind, however no one has salvation, not yet, for no one except Christ is immortal. There are no saints in heaven, there are no believers in heaven. When someone dies, they are dead. There spirit goes back to the Father, and they are asleep, they are not in heaven. They sleep until the resurrection.

Christ’s immortally does not come from the fact that He is God, for He is not the father, the Trinity is not true. The fact is Christ did die on the Christ, and was in need of resurrection, by his Father. Christ was resurrected, and became immortal.

Hebrews 9:26-28 yet now, once, at the conclusion of the eons, for the repudiation of sin through His sacrifice, is He manifest." And, in as much as it is reserved to the men to be dying once, yet after this a judging, thus Christ also, being offered once for the bearing of the sins of many, will be seen a second time, by those awaiting Him, apart from sin, for salvation, through faith." {CLV}

This is about Christ’s return at the end of this eon. He will be manifest, He will be seen a second time. However that is not the focus of this little study. Notice what it says at the end.

“by those awaiting Him, apart from sin, for salvation, through faith”

Who are awaiting Him? Believers in Christ, are awaiting His return. What are they waiting for? For Christ to return. Yes, but why are they waiting for Him? They are awaiting for Him, for SALVATION.

That is, they do not have salvation, not yet, at the moment, at this time, they are awaiting for Christ, for salvation. The members of the body of Christ will gain salvation, when Christ returns and they become immortal. I am not saying they are not saved, they are saved, but they do not have full salvation.

1Thessalonians 5:9-10 for God did not appoint us to indignation, but to the procuring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for our sakes, that, whether we may be watching or drowsing, we should be living at the same time together with Him." {CLV}

God did not appoint the members of the body of Christ “to indignation, but to the procuring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is a coming indication, which the body of Christ, will not experience. I am not talking here about the supposed great tribulation, for there is no coming great tribulation. The book of Revelation is not prophesying the coming supposed great tribulation. For the coming indignation is the destruction of the whole world by fire when Christ returns. Note there is not coming millennium age on this earth.

The members of the body of Christ are appoint to “the procuring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” That is God chose beforehand, God appoint beforehand who would have salvation at Christ’s return. Thus the chosen, the members of the body are procuring, that is acquiring salvation. They do not have salvation, not yet, they will fully acquire salvation when they become immortal.

Romans 8:22-25 For we are aware that the entire creation is groaning and travailing together until now. Yet not only so, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the spirit, we ourselves also, are groaning in ourselves, awaiting the sonship, the deliverance of our body." For to expectation were we saved. Now expectation, being observed, is not expectation, for what anyone is observing, why is he expecting it also? Now, if we are expecting what we are not observing, we are awaiting it with endurance." {CLV}

There is no doubt that the members of the body of Christ are saved, but they are awaiting the sonship, the deliverance of their body. That is the members of the body do not have salvation, but the members of the body are saved, for to expectation were they saved. When a person is spiritual born, then they are saved. They have started the process which at the end will get them full salvation, that is they are being saved.

Most Christians would think they are saved, however this is incorrect. It is only those who are the members of the body of Christ who are saved, not all Christians. In fact most Christians are not the members of the body. You have to truly believe in Christ, most believe in themselves. For they believe that they made a choice, between heaven and hell, that they chose Christ. Unfortunately for them, it is not a choice, there is no choice between heaven and hell to make, and you can not choice Christ. Hell does not exist, no one will be going to hell. You can not chose Christ, it has already been predetermined who will be saved beforehand. It is only those who are predetermined, those who have been chosen who are saved, or will be saved, before Christ returns. Most Christians will join the rest of mankind in the Lake of Fire after the Judgement.

1 Timothy 4:9-11 Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome (for this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.

1 Timothy 2:3-6 God, Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realization of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator of God and mankind, a Man, Christ Jesus, Who is giving Himself a correspondent Ransom for all {CLV}

1 John 4:14 And we have gazed upon Him, and are testifying that the Father has dispatched the Son, the Saviour of the world.

This is not their end, for Christ’s death and resurrection brought salvation for all mankind, but salvation first for the chosen, who are saved, but do not yet have salvation.
