The Flood

In Genesis when Noah is alive there is a flood. Noah is told by God to built a boat, called the Ark. He and his family will go on the ark along with at least two of every kind of animal that is on the earth, and at least two of every kind of bird.
Genesis 6:5 And seeing is Yahweh Elohim that much is the evil of humanity in the earth, and every form of the devices of its heart is but evil all its days. CLV
Due to the evil of humanity an the end of this eon, God destroyed all life on the surface of the earth, except for the life that was on the ark.
Some think that it is just two of every kind, but actually it is a pair of some kinds and seven pairs of other kinds. It is point out by some that the animals would not fit on the ark. Actually there was plenty of room on the ark. The animals did not have to be fully grown adults. Kinds are not the same as what is classified as species today. In fact we don’t know how many kinds there were. It is likely that each kind covered a bigger group they each species covers today. We can guess that for instances there was two cat kinds, sabre-toothed and non-sabre-toothed but there may have only been one.
All the different species and sub-species that we have today could have come from the kinds that were on the ark, there is enough time for this diversification.
There is also enough time for the eight people on the ark to become the more than 6 billion people that we have on the world today. In the old days people are known to a lot large families than we have today.
The ark was sea worthy, and could easily survive the flood that was to come once it was finished. It has been shown that a boat built like the ark would have floated. Noah had plenty of time to build the ark.
The Flood brought that eon to a close and the next eon began.
Local or Worldwide?
Was the Flood local or worldwide? There are clear indicators that the flood was worldwide. First of all, if it was local, they could have just gone to higher ground. There have been many local floods after this flood, but God said he would never do it again, was he lying? Of course not. If it was local, why did all those animals have to go on the ark? At least Two of every kind of Land animal and two of every kind of bird? Surely if it was local, then there would not need to be at least two of every kind. Not only that, most of the birds could have flown to higher ground, they didn’t need to be on the ark.
Genesis 6:17 And I, behold Me bringing a deluge of water over the earth to wreck all flesh, which has in it the spirit of the living, from under the heavens. All that is in the earth shall expire. CLV
Notice here all that is on the earth shall expire. How could God destroy all flesh on the earth if the flood was local? It does not mention him doing some other work to get rid of all flesh.
Genesis 7:21 And expiring is all flesh moving on the earth, of flyer, and of beast, and of living animal, and of every roaming animal roaming on the earth, and every human.
7:22 Everyone which has the breath of the spirit of the living in his nostrils, of all that were in the drained area, dies.
7:23 And wiped off is every risen thing which was on the surface of all the ground, from human to beast, from moving animal to the flyer of the heavens. And being wiped are they from the earth. Yea, only Noah is remaining, and what is with him in the ark. CLV
This is clear, everything on the entire earth expires, that is everything died. Only that which was on the ark survived. If it had been local, loads of animals world have survived, and a lot of other people world have survived too.
Genesis 7:19 And the water has the mastery exceeding exceedingly on the earth. And covered are all the lofty mountains which are under the entire heavens. CLV
The flood covered all the mountains under the entire heavens, which means that it cover all the mountains on the entire earth, Which mean it was worldwide.
Evidence:
In stead of looking for evidence, it should be enough to believe what it says in the bible. If evidence is find that is all well and good, but if no evidence is find that does not mean that it did not happen, it just means no evidence has been find. You should not believe in the theories of men that were not even there.
