Thank you for faithfully praying for us. The PIM board’s meeting lasted a lot longer than as usual. And the unsolved issues have been assigned to a certain committee.

代禱勇士們，收信平安：
感謝您忠心為我們禱告。這次PIM理監事會議開會時間比以前都長，尚未解決的議題已經交託給特定的委員會。

As one of the church fellowships would like to know what’s happening and what’s the need of Dorcas Ministry of PIM, I was asked to make a clip. And several church ladies have contributed their ideas of raising funds for sewing resources in Ambunti. We are encouraged by knowing we have companies.
教會裡的一個團契很想多了解PIM多加事工的近況以及事工的需要，問我做一個短片(做好了，等有空再加中文字幕)。有些教會的姊妹也給我意見，教我如何為安布恩提的縫紉資源募款。感到我們有伴同行，深受鼓勵。

Our granddaughter, Tirzah, is going to get married this coming Sunday. I washed the wedding shirt Douglas’ late wife had made for him for their wedding in 1978, hoping he would wear it at Tirzah’s wedding. It’s too bad that the sleeves have shrunk too much.

我們的孫女得撒（Tirzah）將於本周日結婚。我洗了道格拉斯已故妻子在1978年為他們的婚禮給他製作的襯衫，因為我希望他能在得撒的婚禮上穿上它。可惜袖子縮水得嚴重，實在太短了。

Looking at this shirt, I am always sunk in deep thoughts. Douglas’ late wife, Leah, learned how to sew when she worked as a costume-maker for her collage tuition. And I learned sewing in 2017 for PNG ministries. I am not able to describe how wonder work of God is that “sews” our lives together. I feel familiar with Leah though she died in 2015 and I never met her. In every thought of Douglas that he reveals to me, I can see how Leah has impacted him and made him a special man. And whenever Douglas is troubled with something, I would immediately imagine what Leah would say. This is especially meaningful as our first grandchild is going to get married. I would like to bless Tirzah with the blessings of Her late grandmother, Leah.

看著這件襯衫，我總是陷入深深的思緒。道格拉斯已故的妻子莉亞（Leah）在劇組製作戲服打工賺取學費時學會了縫紉。而我是在2017年為了新幾內亞的事工特意去學縫紉。很難描述上帝是如何把我們的生命「縫合」在一起的，很奇妙就是了。我對莉亞很熟悉，儘管她於 2015 年去世，而我從未見過她。在道格拉斯向我透露他的每一個想法中，我都可以看到莉亞如何影響他並使他成為一個特別的人。每當道格拉斯遇到什麼煩惱時，我都會立即想像莉亞會說什麼。我們的第一個孫輩將要結婚的此時，這別具意義，我要用她已故祖母莉亞的福份來祝福得撒。

1. PNG government is short of US Dollars for buying fuel. The chain effects have caused a sharp rise in prices and other social issues. May God help PNG government in sorting out the currency issue and the fuel crisis.
新幾內亞政府缺乏購買燃油的美元。其連鎖效應導致物價大幅上漲及其他社會問題。願上帝幫助新幾內亞政府解決貨幣問題及燃油危機。

2. Mission Aviation Fellowship is facing severe shortage of manpower, aircrafts and fuel. May God has His mercy on the great aviation needs of missionaries in PNG.
宣教飛行團契正面對人力、飛機及燃油的嚴重短缺，願上帝憐憫在新幾內亞宣教士們的大量飛行需要。

3. May God grant wisdom to the issue-solving committee after PIM board’s meeting in doing His will at the board’s meeting of PIM USA that is going to take place in May 10th.
將於五月10日舉行，求神賞賜智慧給PIM美國理監事會議會後議題處理委員會，遵行祂的旨意。

4. May God bless our granddaughter, Tirzah, with a blessed and blessing wedding.
求神賞賜給我們的孫女得撒有個既蒙福又祝福人的婚禮。

5. Besides the tasks in the USA, Douglas is handling the tasks of PIM happening in PNG, working day and night. May God remember his hard-working and bless him with good health.
道格拉斯日夜工作，除了處理美國PIM的事務，同時也要掌握PIM在新幾內亞正在進行的各項事務。求神記念他的辛勞，賞賜給他健康的身體。

6. May God grant wisdom and patience to the trained women in the sewing training course in developing the sewing ministries of Dorcas Fellowship in South Sea Evangelical Church in Ambnuti and the AOG Church in Ambunti.
求神保守在縫紉訓練課程受訓的學員，讓她們有智慧及耐心在《安布恩提南海福音教會》及《安布恩提神召會》發展多加團契縫紉事工。

7. May God give me wisdom in efficiently helping the ladies here in long term with pricy sewing resource.
求神給Sandy智慧有效且長效地幫助這裡的婦女解決縫紉物資的問題。

8. May God remember Sandy’s fellow workers Beverlyn’s & Jennifer’s hearts in serving Him in the sewing ministry, and provide their families with their needs.
求神記念Sandy的同工貝芙琳和珍妮芙在縫紉事工事奉祂的用心，供應她們家庭的需要。

9. May God bless the work of the Women’s fellowship in South Sea Evangelical Church in Ambunti at raising fund for the generator.
求神記念並賜福安布恩提南海福音教會婦女團契為發電機募款的努力。

10. May God pave our path to renewing my work visa.
求神為Sandy工作簽證的續簽程序開路。

11. My mom’s broken arm has not been recovering properly, and might need a further surgery. May God heal her. Sandy的媽媽手臂的骨折復原狀況不佳，可能需要進一步手術，求神醫治她。

12. May God grant His mercy in my old parents’ financial needs, take care of them, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神憐憫Sandy年邁父母的財務需要、看顧他們，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。

13. May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願神看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
