Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. I am still sorting out my belongs as I moved out of the seaside flat after getting married, and have to get used to two new living environments, one in Ambunti and the other in Wewak. I am grateful that God has enabled the pace of my life getting to normal with morning devotions and evening devotions. And now I have had steady morning walks. This week is going to be busier than as usual as two pastors from my sending base are visiting Wewak. And that is going to be extra ordinarily uplifting to me as well.
各位代禱勇士，收信平安。
感謝大家忠心代禱。我結婚後搬出原本在海邊的住處，需要適應兩個新的居住環境---一個在安布恩提，一個在威瓦克---到現在我的東西還沒有整理好。感謝神，透過穩定的早禱與晚禱，神讓我的生活步調趨近正常，現在也有穩定的晨間散步。隨著我的差會的兩位牧師到訪威瓦克，這個星期會比較忙，他們的到訪也將帶來無比的激勵。
During my stay in Ambunti last month, I called a meeting for the ladies who had attended the sewing course in May. Around 20 out of the 24 showed up and we had constructive discussions. They hadn’t started the sewing ministries in their churches due to difficulties of buying zippers and fabric. And the conflicts between villages that caused shutdown of the road also had paralyzed church activities. Their frustration was not easily understood by people who live in the area where various shops are available. I apologized to them for my being inconsiderate of their difficulties and tried to work it out with them. They became open to let me know what other materials they needed me to help with, and we had a good fellowship in prayers. Thank God that His Divine Peace was ruling us in the meeting. The next day, one of the churches started their Dorcas Fellowship, using used zippers from old bags. And later that week, another church was doing the same thing. Having been back to Wewak, I purchased what they had needed and had the staff of PIM deliver them for me to the class assistant as some of them were going back to Ambunti from Wewak.
上個月在安布恩提停留期間，我邀請五月份縫紉課的學生來教室開會，24個學生當中大約有20個學生出席，大家做了很有建設性的討論。她們無法買到拉鍊，所以還沒在教會開始縫紉事工，部落間的衝突導致道路封鎖也使得教會活動癱瘓。對於身處便利地區，各種商店無一不至的人，她們的難處是很難理解的。我為我的不夠體貼向她們道歉，並且想辦法和她們一同解決問題，她們就打開心告訴我她們還需要什麼東西需要我幫忙，最後我們在禱告中享受美好的團契。感謝神，祂的平安在整個會議中作主。隔天其中一所教會就開始與用舊袋子回收的拉鍊，開始在教會展開多加團契，過幾天另一所教會也採用相同的做法。回到威瓦克之後，我採買了她們需要的材料，上週太島宣教事工的一些職員要從威瓦克回安布恩提時，我託他們順道帶回去給課堂助理。
Because of my plan for going to the USA with Douglas this month, the level 2 sewing course with the old students in Ambunti will have to fall in January 2023, as well as the level 1 course for church ladies from far-away villages.
由於我這個月要與道格拉斯一起到美國，安布恩提的第二級縫紉班要等2023年一月才開班。遠道部落教會婦女的第一級訓練課程也是會在2023年一月舉辦。
Douglas has to hold board meetings at the end of September and the end of October. We are leaving Wewak for POM on the 13th and stay there for 3 days, going to some governmental offices. And on the 16th, we will take off for the USA. He has a big family there and it will take time and trips for us to see all of them.
道格拉斯必須在九月底和十月底各召開一次董事會，我們會在九月十三日從威瓦克到首都莫斯比港，在那裏停留三天，到政府部門洽談公務；九月十六日再從莫斯比港飛往美國。道格拉斯在美國有很大的家族，我們要花點時間從西到東去探訪他們。

2. May God give guidance to the Meni Beach Baptist Church in developing the ministry of making sanitary napkins for school girls and women who newly give a birth in the hospital.
求神引導濱海浸信會發展衛生巾製作的事工(用以贈送給女學生以及醫院裡剛剛生下小孩的婦女。)
3. May God give confidence and willingness to those who have received Level One sewing training in Ambunti that they will all use what they have been trained for developing Dorcas fellowship in their churches.
求神將信心及願做的心賞賜給安布恩提接受過第一級縫紉訓練的婦女，使她們運用所學在教會推動多加團契。
4. May God grant guidance to Meni Beach Baptist Church in developing the ministry of making sanitary napkins for school girls and women who newly give a birth in the hospital.
求神引導濱海浸信會發展衛生巾製作的事工(用以贈送給女學生以及醫院裡剛剛生下小孩的婦女。
5. May God guide Douglas and me in preparation for going to the USA, and bless his work in POM with the governmental offices.
願神帶領我和道格拉斯到美國的行前準備，也保守他在首都莫斯比港與政府部門接洽的事務。
6. May God take care of my old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神看顧Sandy年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
