Dear all,
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Last Friday morning was the final class of the Art Therapy course. The teacher had me make a short presentation on how Art Therapy associates to cross-cultural mission. Basically, Art Therapy training makes me more aware of the difference between literal leaning and oral learning, language communication and non-language communication, as well as cultural differences. And the Bible tells us in Acts 17:26, 27 that each people group are supposed to find God with their own identity. God is amazing.

感謝您忠心的代禱。上星期五是藝術療癒課程最後一次上課。老師指派我上台分享藝術療癒跟跨文化宣教的關聯。簡單地來說，藝術療癒的訓練讓我更謹慎面對文字學習與口述學習的不同、語言溝通與非語言溝通的不同，以及文化差異的議題。聖經使徒行傳17章26, 27節告訴我們每一個族群都可以按照他們原本的身份認同來尋找神。神真是奇妙。
Thanks to the Lord that He finally made my way to visiting Pastor Lin who serve in the mountain area in Pingtong. I had wanted to visit him since he got very ill in March and the right side of his body was paralyzed. Getting to know how he pastored the church even when he was in the hospital, came back to serve the Lord with sermons as soon as he was able to stand and started working on the fund raising for the barrier-free facility in the church, I was amazed by the strength of our Lord. No matter the ups and downs in life, we are the masterpieces in His hands.
感謝主，祂終於使我得以順利去探視在屏東山區服事的林牧師。今年三月林牧師重病右半身癱瘓時，我就一直想去看他了。聽著他說他住院時如何繼續牧養教會，一開始能站就回來站講台講道，而且又親自開始為教會的無障礙設施募款….，我看到神的力量奇妙無比。僅管生命中有起起落落，我們在神的手中都是祂的傑作呀！
This week we are extremely busy and fully occupied by ministries and intensive classes. Please participate in cross-cultural mission through your prayers:
1. May God be in control of the epidemic of COVID-19 in PNG. The latest number of confirmed cases in PNG is 401. Last week it was 333.
2. Kellen and I are working on the preparation for the workshop that will take place in Tainan on Aug. 29. And on the 30th, Kellen is going to give a sermon and I will teach the Sunday school. May God grant us with His Divine Wisdom.
3. May God use the workshops and lectures we provide to bless churches in Taiwan.
4. May God grant His Divine Wisdom to us and bless our study.
5. May God grant His divine healing and protection to Kellen’s old mother and my old parents.
6. May God heal Pastor Lin, our faithful prayer warrior, and make him get well soon.
7. May God be in control of the process of our working visa application in PNG.
這星期我們極其忙碌，時間被服事和密集課塞得滿滿的。敬請持續以您的禱告參與跨文化宣教：
一、 願神掌管新冠肺炎在新幾內亞的疫情。最新得到的確診人數是401，上星期是333。
二、 我和Kellen正在預備八月29日要在台南舉辦的跨文化宣教工作坊。30日Kellen被安排主日講台，我則在主日學服事。求神賞賜我們屬天的智慧。
三、 願神使用我們提供的工作坊及講座，成為台灣眾教會的祝福。
四、 願神賞賜給我們屬天的智慧，保守我們在課程中的學習。
五、 願神對Kellen年邁的母親及我年邁的父母賞賜祂屬天的醫治跟保護。
六、 願神醫治我們的忠心代禱者林牧師，使他快快康復。
七、 願神在我們申請新幾內亞工作簽證的程序中掌權。
