Dear all,

Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Since last month, I have enjoyed the pace of “normal life”, and have been able to visit friends, invite friends to come and eat with me, participating a course in the seminary, and joined a Bible study group.

各位代禱勇士，收信平安！

感謝您忠心的代禱。自從上個月，我就一直在享受“正常生活”的步調。有時間拜訪朋友、請朋友到家裡一起吃飯、到神學院選修一門課程，還去參加一個查經班。

Joining a Bible study group is a good way to digging out what the Bible is teaching us as well as having fellowship. We are now studying the story of Joseph. Joseph was such a unique person that he was set apart from his brother, resisted his master’s wife’s seducement and had outstanding performances in any circumcises.

參加查經班不僅可以彼此團契，而且是個挖掘經文到底有何教訓的好方法。我們正在查考約瑟的故事。約瑟是個很特別的人：他與弟兄們迥異、抗拒女主人的誘惑，而且在任何處境下都有特優的工作表現。

The Bible mentions several times that the Lord was with Joseph and He made everything he did successful. And I think what made him so unique was the 2 dreams he got from God when he was very young. Because he held onto the dreams that God had gave him, no matter where he was led to, he knew who he was and who he was going to be. In my opinion, this was why he chose not to enjoy fleeting pleasures of sin rather than to sin against God. And the identity God had given him made him be a trust worthy person in any position.

聖經中數次提到主耶和華與約瑟同在，使他所作的盡都順利。而我覺得他之所以如此獨特，在於他很年輕的時候，上帝給他兩個夢。也因為他謹守這兩個夢，無論他被帶到哪裡，他都知道他現在和未來是什麼身分。我想這是為什麼他寧願選擇不享受暫時的罪中之樂，也不要得罪上帝。神給他的身份使得他無論在什麼位置，他都做個值得信任的人。

I once read an article that asked the question, “Do you think Joseph’s brothers would have been so jealous of him if they had realized that they would become the ancestors of the 12 tribes of God’s chosen people?”

我曾經讀到一篇文章，其中問大家這樣的問題：「如果約瑟的哥哥們有想到他們將來是神的選民十二支派的祖先，他們還會這麼忌妒約瑟嗎？」

We all have our dreams and plans of life. But what makes our life meaningful? Let’s all dream of God’s dreams! Than we will experience His Divine Rules.

我們都有我們的夢想以及人生規劃，但是生命要怎樣才會有意義？讓我們的夢想與神的計劃重疊吧！這樣我們就可以有機會經歷神的屬天法則。

We are still getting the required documents for processing the working visa. Please participate in cross-cultural mission through your prayers:

1. May God be in control of the epidemic of COVID-19 in PNG. The latest number of confirmed cases in PNG is 111. Last week it was 63.

2. Kellen and I are working on the preparation for the workshop that will take place in the end of this month. May God grant us His Divine Wisdom.

3. May God use the workshops and lectures we provide to bless churches in Taiwan.

4. May God grant His Divine Wisdom to us and bless our study.

5. May God grant His divine healing and protection to Kellen’s old mother and my old parents.

6. May God be in control of the process of our working visa application in PNG.

我們仍然在處理申請新幾內亞工作簽證所需的文件。敬請持續以您的禱告參與跨文化宣教：

一、 願神掌管新冠肺炎在新幾內亞的疫情。最新得到的確診人數是111，上星期是63。

二、 我和Kellen正在預備本月底要舉辦的跨文化宣教工作坊。求神賞賜我們屬天的智慧。

三、 願神使用我們提供的工作坊及講座，成為台灣眾教會的祝福。

四、 願神賞賜給我們屬天的智慧，保守我們在課程中的學習。

五、 願神對Kellen年邁的母親及我年邁的父母賞賜祂屬天的醫治跟保護。

六、 願神在我們申請新幾內亞工作簽證的程序中掌權。
