Dear all,
Thank you for being our partners in your prayers. God blessed the sermon on May 24th and the church was inspired to take further steps in cross-cultural mission. Hopefully this church will start continuously supporting missionaries and few months later, a cross-cultural mission workshop will take place in this church in order to mentally equip the church for cross-cultural training.
各位代禱勇士，收信平安！
感謝您以禱告與我們同工。神大大賜福五月24日的證道。教會被神激勵要進一步參與跨文化宣教事工。近期教會很有可能開始持續性支持宣教士，並在下半年度舉辦跨文化宣教工作坊，希望能藉此在心態上裝備信徒接受跨文化宣教的訓練。
I do have something to say to Chinese churches in Taiwan that are more blessed than those in other countries in the world.--- First, according to Act 13 and 16, the direction and the trend of the global mission are supposed to be determined by the Holy Spirit instead of the observation on the global trends or the scale of church. What we need is to fast and pray for guidance of God and to be absolutely obedient.
相對於世界上其他國家，台灣的教會的確相當的蒙福。Sandy對教會的確有話要說。首先，根據使徒行傳13章與16章，普世宣教的方向及趨勢應該決定於聖靈，而不是全球趨勢的觀察，也不決定於教會的規模。在抉擇上，我們需要的是禁食禱告尋求神的指引並且絕對順服神的帶領。
Furthermore, members on all teams of mission trip, no matter how short the trip is or what purpose the trip is, have to be well trained. So that short-term mission trips can be aimed for long-term ministries and will not jeopardize the development of long-term ministries.
再者，所有宣教團隊的成員都應充分接受訓練，不論宣教行程為期有多麼短，也不論行程的目的是什麼。這樣，短宣才能對準長宣為標的，而不危害長宣的發展。
Because of the pandemic of COVID-19, almost all mission trips are cancelled. Many might feel stuck and frustrated. In Chapter 48 of the Book of Genesis, Joseph the son of Jacob was not pleased to see his father cross his arms while blessing two sons of Joseph. And Joseph was once trying to move his father’s right hand to the head of his first born. But his father refuse and said, “I know, my son, I know. …” Our Heavenly Father knows everything and He is in charge. Let’s all be willing to be shaped to be more like Him and to be drawn to be closer to His Will.
因著新冠肺炎的全球疫情，今年幾乎所有的短宣都被取消了。很多人可能感到困頓或沮喪。在創世記48章，雅各剪手為約瑟的兩個兒子祝福。約瑟感到不悅並試圖挪移雅各的右手到頭生兒子瑪拿西頭上。但是雅各拒絕了，並且說：「我知道，我兒，我知道。…」我們的天父都知道，萬事也都在祂手中。讓我們誠心願意主模塑我們更像祂，牽引我們更加貼近祂的心意。

1. On June 6th, Kellen and I will be conducting a lecture on how to be supporters of missionaries. May God’s Spirit be with our speeches.
2. May God be in control of the process of our work permit application in PNG.
3. May God use the workshops and lectures we provide to bless churches in Taiwan.
