Shalom, dear all!

Thank you for faithfully praying for us. The two pastors from my organization had a good time in PNG. And we had a good time in fellowship. They were open to the culture that was very special to them and appreciate all opportunities to try something different.

各位代禱勇士，收信平安。

感謝大家忠心代禱。兩位來自我所屬機構的牧師很享受在新幾內亞的時間，我們也有很好的團契。他們對不同於自己的文化有開放的態度，並且好好把握嘗試新事物的機會。

God gave them some experience of “expecting the unexpected”, too. During the three days of their stay in Wewak, there was no power and water supply most of the time, and it was very hot. And it is quite normal that there was no network. They also had quite a few problems at the airport, such as baggage being stolen, tickets information not being found in the system, flight being seriously delayed that the transition didn’t work out. Thanks to God that He was in charge in their difficulties and sent angels to them at about time.

神也賜給他們「預期不可意料之事」的經驗，他們待在威瓦克的三天，其中大部分的時間是停電停水的，而且天氣很熱。常常沒有網路訊號更是家常便飯。他們在機場也遇到很多狀況，像是行李被別人拿走、機票訊息在系統裡有問題、班機嚴重延誤早成無法轉機。感謝神，祂在人的困境中掌權，並且差派天使逢時提供幫助。

The earthquake on Sunday morning became widely known throughout the world. Thank you that many of you wrote and expressed your concern. We were fine in Wewak as it felt like 6 degree here though it was 7.6 in the east of the island. We felt the ground moving forward and backward, swing left-and-right for about a minute. There was very limited damage in Wewak. But we received several pictures of damages in some other area.

星期天早上的地震成了全球皆知的新聞。謝謝大家，很多人發信息來關心。主要在大島東部7. 6級的地震在威瓦克感覺上是6級。我們感覺前後左右搖晃大約一分鐘，在威瓦克沒有什麼損害，一切都很平安。但是我們也收到一些照片，顯示此次地震在其它地區造成的災損。

Douglas and I are in the plane from Wewak to POM now as our flight yesterday was over booked. We are to do some work and meet friends in POM. And on the 16^th, we will be off again for the USA. And that will be another 3 flights.

我和道格拉斯原本昨天就要出發，但是昨天的飛機超額訂位，我們雖然到了機場還是被擠掉了，現在終於坐在從威瓦克飛往首都莫斯比港的班機中。我們會在莫斯比港辦一些事，也見見朋友。十六日我們會從莫斯比港出發，再搭三個航班前往美國。

2. May God give confidence and willingness to those who have received Level One sewing training in Ambunti that they will all use what they have been trained for developing Dorcas fellowship in their churches.
求神將信心及願做的心賞賜給安布恩提接受過第一級縫紉訓練的婦女，使她們運用所學在教會推動多加團契。

3. May God bless Douglas’s work in POM, and bless our trip to the USA via Manila.
願神保守道格拉斯在首都莫斯比港接洽的事務，也賜福我們經馬尼拉飛往美國的旅途。

4. May God take care of my old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神看顧Sandy年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
