Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. The 2-week-long Level 1 sewing training has been completed. Students are very happy with their achievements of making a pin cushion, a purse and a pair of trousers, and using tailor’s rulers. And the boil on Melisa’s leg is healing up. One of the Level 2 students has passed the exam for the certificate. And the others are on the way except Sabeth.
感謝您忠心地為我們禱告。為期兩周的第一級縫紉培訓已經完成。梅麗莎腿上的疔瘡正在癒合。學生們對他們製作針包、錢包和一條褲子以及使用裁縫尺的成就感到非常高興。第二級縫紉班的學生已經有一名通過了證書考試，除了莎白以外，其他人也應該會通過。
I was told last week that the 6 students of the Level 1 class starting on the 22nd would all come from the same village that is 4 hours canoe ride away. I had prepared the money for their meals for the 2 weeks, and the church had prepared for their accommodation. Sadly, because of misunderstanding in communication and some cultural issues, they didn’t show up. Thanks to God that I learned a good cultural lesson and the 2 weeks break will allow me to take care of family better.
負責受理報名的同工上星期告訴我，22日開課的第一級課程，所有六位學員都來自同一個村子，她們划獨木舟來要花費四個小時。我已經為她們預備好兩周的餐費，教會也為她們預備好住宿。可惜，由於溝通不良以及一些文化因素，她們終究還是沒來。感謝上帝，我學了一堂很好的文化課程；而且兩個星期的空檔將讓我可以把家照顧得好一些。
I also thank God that some of you gave me some feedback to the last two updates of mine, and we had some good discussions on cultural issues, too. PNG is a good school to me that God puts me in.
您們當中有一些人針對Sandy上兩封代禱通訊提出一 些反饋，因此我們也討論到一些珍貴的文化議題，真是感謝神。新幾內亞是上帝給Sandy的好學校。

1. May God be in charge of the fuel crisis in PNG.

2. The system problems of the bank used by PIM have not been solved yet, the staff of PIM in Wewak spend hours in the bank every week. PIM have to make fund transaction from the US to PNG several times a month. May God bless the fund wiring process.
PIM使用的銀行系統問題尚未能解決，PIM威瓦克中心的員工每個星期都要在銀行待好幾個小時。PIM每個月要從美國將數筆資金匯入新幾內亞，求神保守資金電匯的流程。
3. May God strengthen AOG Church in Malu and cease the fights among villages.
求神堅固馬露神召會，並止息部落間的械鬥。
4. Five of the Level 1 sewing class students and four of the Level 2 students are practicing for their exams for getting certificates. May God strengthen them.
五位第一級縫紉班的學生及四名第二級的學生正在練習領證的考試，求神加力量給她們。
5. May God heal Douglas’ swollen ankle.
願上帝治癒道格拉斯腫脹的腳踝。
6. My visa is due on July, 10th, and Douglas’ visa is due on June 14th. The application is in process. May God be in charge.
Sandy的簽證將於7月10日到期，道格拉斯的簽證將於6月14日到期。已經申請但尚未有結果。願神掌管一切。
7. May God take care of my old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神看顧Sandy年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
