Dear all,

Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Last week was so packed up. First, I finished the 3-day-long intensive training and became qualified to assist junior high school students with low performances in math. In the class, I was the oldest trainee. Well, at least old enough to be called “Auntie” by all the others. Thanks to the Lord for it’s such a blessing to be able to attend this training course. Having not been in touch with math for decades, I am so excited to realize that many new ideas of teaching math have been developed. In the middle of this month I will start helping in a junior high school as it is part of the out-reaching project of my church.

各位代禱勇士，收信平安！

感謝您忠心的代禱。上個星期真是轉個不停。首先，我上完了三天的密集培訓課程，拿到國中數學扶助教學的資格。我是班上年齡最大的受訓者，其他人都要喊我阿姨。感謝主，能夠參加這個訓練真是莫大的祝福。三十多年沒碰數學了，學習到這麼多新發展的數學教法，我好興奮呀！這個月中旬，我就要開始到一所國中幫忙。這是我們教會外展事工的一部份。

And then, last weekend Kellen and I served in a church in Tainan. There were 26 participants attending the cross-cultural mission workshop. This is the fourth time for me to serve in this church that has been in touch with us for 4 years. As cross-cultural missionaries, we appreciate steady relationship with churches like this. Through lectures and workshops, churches would get to know how to participate in cross-cultural mission according to the teaching of the Bible instead of the needs of missionaries.

然後，我和Kellen上周末在台南一所教會服事。有26個人來參加我們的跨文化宣教工作坊。這所教會已經與我們接觸四年，這是我第四次到這所教會服事。跨文化宣教士很感激教會願意這樣跟我們有穩定的關係。透過講座及工作坊，教會不是按著宣教士的需要，而是能按著聖經教導的方式來參與跨文化宣教。

Kellen and I would like to work more among churches on Bible story telling too. We started promoting Bible story telling in 2011. And now we have re-organized the run-down of our Bible story telling workshop to better fit the needs of church scheduling. And we look forward to seeing this workshop evoke churches in Taiwan the awareness of making disciples of oral learners.

我和Kellen也希望多多在教會當中推廣聖經故事。我們在2011年開始做這件事工。現在我們重新整理我們聖經故事工作坊的流程表，讓它更能配合教會行事曆的安排。我們期待這個工作坊能夠引發教會「使口述學習者作主門徒」的意識。

We are getting ourselves better prepared for serving in PNG too. This Thursday I am going to have my first carpentry class.

我們也繼續在裝備自己，才能好好在新幾內亞服事。這個星期四我就要上第一堂木工課了。

Please participate in cross-cultural mission through your prayers:

1. May God be in control of the epidemic of COVID-19 in PNG. The latest number of confirmed cases in PNG is 459. Last week it was 401.

2. May God use the workshops and lectures we provide to bless churches in Taiwan.

3. May God grant His Divine Wisdom to us and bless our study.

4. May God grant His divine healing and protection to Kellen’s old mother and my old parents.

5. May God be in control of the process of our working visa application in PNG.
