Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. This morning (28th, Nov.), there was an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 striking Wewak. That was the strongest I have ever experienced in PNG. It’s good that it lasted for only few second, and there’s no damages or hurts reported.
Our trip to POM last week was relatively rewarding. We found out the true problem that had obstructed the process of my work permit renewing, and got useful information we needed at the US embassy. We visited a missionary family that work with our partner organization, had a good time with friends from the Chinese church, and were delighted to run into quite a few people from Ambunti area. What a small world!
代禱勇士們，收信平安：
感謝你忠心地為我們禱告。今天上午（11月28日），威瓦克發生芮氏規模6.6級地震。這是我在新幾內亞經歷過的最強烈的一次。還好它只持續了幾秒鐘，而且沒有損壞或受傷的消息傳出。
我們的上星期的首都之行算是頗有收穫：找到了阻礙我工作許可證更新的真正問題，並在美國大使館獲得了我們需要的有用資訊。我們拜訪一個合作夥伴機構的宣教士家庭、和華人教會的朋友們歡喜相聚，也很高興能巧遇許多來自安布恩提地區的人。世界真小呀！

Douglas and I came back to Wewak last Saturday. Both of us have recovered from illnesses and tiredness. So, we went and soaked ourselves in the ocean on Sunday afternoon. Sadly, some big waves took our eye glasses away. I have my back-up glasses. But Douglas has to have his new pair made and sent from the USA. He has been wearing glasses since he was 2 years old with far sight. It would be impossible for him to work with the computer and cellphone without his eye glasses. We were blessed by God with the magnifier bookmarks that had given to us last week by one of friends from the Chinese church. She meant to give them to us for presents to the villagers. Who would have known they would serve the purpose of rescuing a “half-blind” servant of God while he is waiting for his eye glasses to be made and sent.

道格拉斯和我上週六回到了威瓦克。我們倆的生病及疲憊都好了，週日下午就去海裡泡一下。不幸的是，大浪捲走了我們的眼鏡。我有備用眼鏡，但道格拉斯必須等著從美國訂製造並寄來。他從2歲起就因遠視戴眼鏡。如果不戴眼鏡，他就不能使用電腦和手機。上帝自有預備，上週華人教會的一位朋友送給我們許多放大鏡書籤，她是要把它們送給我們作為送給村民的禮物。誰會知道，當上帝的「半盲」僕人在等待眼鏡重做和寄出時，這些禮物解決了燃眉之急。

Trust in the Lord and do good;

3. May God pave our path to renewing my work visa.
求神為Sandy工作簽證的續簽程序開路。

4. Douglas and I are to leave Wewak for Ambunti on Thursday. May God bless us with a safe journey by plane.
道格拉斯和Sandy本周四將由威瓦克飛往安布恩提。求神保守我們飛行平安。

5. May God grant all the participants with courage and wisdom needed in the sewing course, and guide them break through all the bottlenecks in learning.
求神給縫紉課程的學員們夠用的勇氣與智慧，帶領她們突破所有學習上的瓶頸。

6. My mom has been suffering from dementia since 2019, and my dad’s physical and mental condition is quite worrisome. May God grant His mercy in my old parents’ financial needs, take care of them, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
家母自2019年開始罹患失智症，家父目前的身心狀況也十分堪憂。願神憐憫Sandy年邁父母的財務需要、看顧他們，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。

7. My brother is having a hard time taking care of my parents whom are not communicable with. May God have mercy upon him.
Sandy的弟弟照顧無法溝通的父母，十分辛苦。願神憐憫他。
