Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Beverlyn and Jennifer came back safely from the training of delivering messages. They were telling me about the training excitingly. I am glad that they can be trained by a local trainer. But they found it pity that not many people attended this course. We all feel the need of praying for Rita Mark, the trainer. May God give her more and more opportunities to run the training course in the remote area.

代禱勇士們，收信平安：
感謝您忠心為我們禱告。貝芙琳與珍妮芙上完講道訓練課程後，平安回來了。她們很興奮地告訴我此次上課內容。我很高興她們能去上當地人講師教導的訓練課程。但是她們認為去參加的人太少，真是太可惜了。我們都覺得應該好好為講師麗塔馬克禱告，求神給她更多機會在偏鄉舉辦訓練課程。

In early last week, some judges moved into our mission house for the need of opening court sessions. And in late last week, we got the last-minute notification that five doctors from Australia are to stay with us this week and use the PIM Resource Center for giving one-week-long training to the local medical staff who are serving in the remote area and the Ambunti Health Center. As the PIM mission house is all packed now, it happens that the water pump is leaking, the generator is leaking, our house is affected by termites and ants. Douglas has been busy as a bee sorting out all the problems and preparing for a board’s meeting at the same time.
上週初，因開庭需要，一些法官搬進了我們的宣教士房舍。上週晚些時候，我們收到臨時的通知，本周有五名來自澳洲的醫生也來住在我們這裡，並利用 PIM 資源中心為在偏遠地區和安布恩提保健中心服務的當地醫務人員提供一周的培訓課程。現在PIM宣教士房舍已經擠滿了人，偏偏水泵漏水、發電機漏油、我們的房子遭白蟻和螞蟻嚴重破壞。道格拉斯忙於解決所有問題，同時也準備召開董事會會議。

Our construction team are back to Ambunti, but they were asked to stop working on our house because the medical training complained about the noise their work had made. I am also asked to stop my sewing class because the new stair has not been put in and my class was to share the same stairs with the medical training and my classroom was at the back of the big classroom.
我們的工班隊已經回到安布恩提了，但他們在我們房子的施工被要求停止，因為醫療訓練團隊抱怨他們的施工噪音太大了。我的縫紉課也被要求停止，因為新樓梯還沒有安裝，我的班級與醫療培訓共用同一個樓梯，而且我的教室在大教室的後面。

It’s a good opportunity that we learn to be flexible. Now I am having two students come to my office and review what they have learned. For better understanding the course, they are taught to make the handout by themselves. We must thank God for the time that we stop the class and make our work better. 
這是我們學習靈活變通的好機會。現在，我讓兩位學生來到我的辦公室，複習她們所學的內容。我也教她們自己製作講義，這樣她們能了解得更透徹。感謝上帝讓我們在停課的時間工作做得更好。

我們也很擔心因高中校地問題產生的打鬥。不但學生沒辦法上學，打鬥一觸即發，珍妮芙的家人都無法將病重的母親帶出來看醫生。

1.       May God be in charge of the fuel crisis, currency policy, and economy development in PNG.
求神在新幾內亞的燃油危機、貨幣政策以及經濟發展中掌權。

2.       Mission Aviation Fellowship is facing severe shortage of manpower, aircrafts and fuel. May God has His mercy on the great aviation needs of missionaries in PNG.   
宣教飛行團契正面對人力、飛機及燃油的嚴重短缺，願上帝憐憫在新幾內亞宣教士們的大量飛行需要。

3.       May God lead Rita Mark and path her way to training His servants in the remote area in East Sepik Province.
 願上帝帶領麗塔馬克，為她鋪路在東希比克省的偏遠地區訓練神僕。

4.       May God be in charge of the issue of the land ownership of Ambunti high school.
 願上帝在安布恩提中學土地所有權的議題中掌權。

5.       Due to the new banking policy of PNG, it has been taking long hours in banking work each week for PIM staff to transfer the funds and to withdraw in order to keep the ministries going. May God rule over the banking issue.  
由於新幾內亞新的銀行政策，PIM工作人員每週都要花很長時間在銀行處理資金的匯存及提領，才得以維持事工的運作。願上帝在銀行事務的難題中掌權。

6.       With multi-duties, Douglas works day and night. May God grant he good health.
道格拉斯身兼眾多職務。願上帝賞賜給他健康的身體。

7.       May God watch over PIM headquarter in Ambunti and give wisdom to Douglas in sorting out the problem with our house, the water pumps, generators and motor of the tractor; and dealing with the construction work for expending the resource center.
願上帝看顧位於安布恩提的PIM總部，賜智慧給道格拉斯解決我們的住屋、抽水馬達、發電機和拖拉機馬達的問題；並負責資源中心擴建的建設工作

8.       May God give strength to Douglas in preparing for the on line board’s meeting on September 20th.
求神賜力量給道格拉斯預備九月20日舉行的線上理監事會議。

9.       May God grant Douglas wisdom and strength in facilitating the sewing resource center.  
願上帝在建置縫紉資源中心事上，賞賜道格拉斯智慧與力量。

10.   May God grant us His divine guidance in purchasing the generator for South Sea Evangelical Church in Ambunti.
願上帝在我們為安布恩提南海福音教會購買發電機的事上，指引我們。

11.   May God bless our on-going sewing class that started on August 21st. 
願上帝保守我們八月二十一日星期三開始現在仍在進行的縫紉課程。

12.   My mother is not recovering well from a fractured arm. May God heal her.
Sandy的媽媽手臂的骨折復原狀況不佳，求神醫治她。

13.   May God grant His mercy in my old parents’ financial needs, take care of them, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神憐憫Sandy年邁父母的財務需要、看顧他們，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。

14.   May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願神看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
