Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Having had done shopping and shipping done for PIM and a lot of sorting and storing our personal belongings, Douglas and I left Wewak on March 3rd for POM. Thank God that our flight was delayed for only one hour. During our 2 days of staying in POM, we were busy getting shopping done for PIM, too. Besides that, we had a meeting with the agent Dinah who is helping us deal with our work visas. And it was nice to meet some other missionaries in the missionaries’ guest house in POM. They were missionaries from Australia, New Zealand, Finland, America, and I am from Taiwan. We had a lot to share to one another.
各位代禱勇士，收信平安。
感謝你忠心地為我們禱告。在為PIM完成許多採購和運輸，以及整理和儲藏很多我們的在威瓦克的個人物品之後，道格拉斯和我於3月3日離開Wewak前往首都POM。感謝上帝，我們的航班只延誤了一個小時。在我們住在POM的2天裡，我們也忙於PIM的採購任務。除此之外，我們還與幫助處理工作簽證的代辦人黛娜會面。很高興在POM的宣教士招待所遇到其他宣教士。他們來自澳大利亞、紐西蘭、芬蘭、美國，而我來自臺灣。我們有很多事可以分享給彼此。
After being away for 1 year, I arrived in Taiwan with Douglas on the late night of March the 3rd. And now we are staying in Taipei since some documents need to be dealt with here. We are blessed that my friend Sherry and her husband let us stay with them. And it is good that we are able to translate the documents in their house. We should have translated them when we were in PNG but Douglas had been far too busy to even take them out of the file.
離開1年後，Sandy於3月3日深夜與道格拉斯一起抵達臺灣。現在我們還待在臺北，因為有些文件需要在這裡處理。我們很蒙恩，朋友雪麗和她的丈夫讓我們和住他們家。能夠在他們家翻譯這些文件真是太好了，本應該在新幾內亞就翻譯的，但道格拉斯忙到甚至沒時間將它們從檔案夾中取出來。
Besides working and visiting the church I used to attend, we have spent some time with friends that took care of me during my stay in Taipei in 2011 and 2012. And as it is Douglas’ first time in Taipei, he has been taken to 2 of the nearby “must” photo spots. So far, he enjoys his stay, friendship and all the food brought to him. Actually, he is the most flexible westerner I have ever met.
除了工作以及回到我以前參加的教會，我們也與幾個朋友小聚，他們在我2011年和2012年在臺北居住期間很照顧我。由於這是道格拉斯第一次來臺北，我們帶他到附近的兩個 “必要” 留影景點。迄今為止他很享受這個地方、友誼、以及所有帶到他眼前的食物。事實上，他是我見過的最有彈性的西方人。
Though it is unfair to my family in Kaohsiung, we have to finish dealing with our documents and do some price comparisons in Taipei for shopping for our ministries in PNG before we can go back to Kaohsiung for my family.
雖然這樣有點對不起在高雄的家人，但我們必須在台北處理好我們的文件，並為我們在新幾內亞的事工採購做一些比價，然後才能回到高雄看家人。

1. Due to lacking of foreign currency, PNG is facing severe fuel crisis that leads to power crisis, massive flight cancelations, and many other social issues. May God’s mercy dwell in PNG.
由於外匯不足，新幾內亞正面臨嚴重的燃料危機，這導致電力危機、大規模航班取消和許多其他社會問題。願上帝的憐憫臨到新幾內亞。
2. PIM is still encountering a lot of difficulties each time when a fund transfer to PNG needs to be done. May God bless the fund wiring process.
PIM (太島宣教事工) 現在每次電匯資金到新幾內亞時，總是遇到很多困難，求神保守資金電匯的流程。
3. May God grant His Divine Protection to all PIM school teachers who serve in remote villages.
願神將祂屬天的保護賞賜給所有在偏遠村莊服務的PIM學校教師。
4. Before we left PNG, two of the generators of PIM started having some problems. May God have his mercy on the maintenance of the power supply system in the headquarter of PIM in Ambunti, and pave the way for Douglas to place the order of some customized parts for the generators.
在我們離開新幾內亞之前，PIM的兩部發電機開始出現問題。願上帝施憐憫PIM在安布恩提總部的供電系統維護，並開路讓道格拉斯得以為發電機訂購一些客製化零件。
5. When I am away, Merolyn, one of the staffs in the education department of PIM, is going to do the work of distributing handouts and sewing materials. May God bless her.
求神保守新幾內亞PIM (太島宣教事工)教育部門同工梅洛琳，在Sandy離開安布恩提期間，由她負責分發講義及縫紉材料。
6. May God bless our participants who attend the Level Two training course of sewing and Bible story devotion in Ambunti PNG, and give them divine love and courage to be able to conducts Dorcas Fellowship in their own churches.
願上帝保守參加新幾內亞安布恩提縫紉和聖經故事靈修二級培訓課程的學員，並給予他們屬天的愛與勇氣，使她們能夠在自己的教會中進行多加團契。
7. Douglas is having a swollen ankle on his right leg again. May God heal Douglas’ swollen ankle and my gum.
願上帝治癒道格拉斯腫脹的腳踝以及Sandy的牙齦。
8. May God guide us in working, having medical treatments, delivering messages, and visiting family and friends in Taiwan.
願上帝引導我們在臺灣工作、就醫、分享信息和探親訪友。
9. My old papa who takes care of my mom who suffers from dementia also appears to have problem with mental degeneration. May God take care of my old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
爸爸(照顧Sandy患有失智症的媽媽)也開始出現智力退化的現象。願神看顧Sandy年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
