Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Praise God that I haven’t had a sore throat for a month.

各位代禱勇士，收信平安。

感謝大家忠心為我們代禱。感謝上帝，我已經一個月沒有發生喉嚨痛了。

Because of the flood, we had to unpack the suitcases that had been packed up for the trip to PNG since January, 2020. Having been like the arrows on the tighten strings of the bows and being aimed for the target for 17 months, rationally and sensibly, we had accepted the fact that we would be trapped in our home country and wait for God’s timing. But when I sew all the stuff taken out of the suitcases and left on the tailor’s table, I realized that I needed inner healings from God. Being busy as a bee wouldn’t be the ultimate solution. We thank God that our problems draw us closer and closer to Him each day.

因為一樓淹水的關係，我們必須把2020年一月初就打包好要去新幾內亞的旅行箱打開，取出所有裡面的東西。過去這17個月以來，我們就像搭在緊繃的弓弦上、瞄準紅心的箭。理性上與情感上，我們都能接受事實，順服被困在家鄉，等待上帝給的時機。然而當我看著所有的行李被取出擱放在裁縫桌的時候，我明白自己需要由上帝而來的內在醫治。即使我們一直都很忙，忙碌並不是醫治創傷的良藥。感謝神，我們的問題拉著我們面對上帝，每日與祂更親近。

We are blessed to have our sending base and sending churches that keep caring about our emotional needs and giving us warm supports. At the moment, many missionaries in the world are facing the same problem of being trapped. Most of them don’t even know how to write their updates to their prayer warriors as they don’t think that they would be really understood. Please pray for all missionaries you know. As it might not be appropriate to meet up during the pandemic, it would be nice of you to send them your greetings even if you haven’t heard from them for a long time. And, according to the experts, it would be even nicer of you if you don't keep asking when they are able to go back to the mission fields.

我們很蒙福，有差會和差派教會顧念我們精神上的需要，並且給予我們溫暖的支持。在這個時刻，全世界有很多宣教士也正面對這種被困住的問題。其中很多人在此時連代禱信都寫不出來，因為他們不覺得自己會被諒解。敬請為所有您知道的宣教士禱告。疫情中或許不方便見面，即使您已經很久沒有收到他們的來信，您可以寫信問候他們。而且，根據專家表示，如果您這個時候能不要老是問他們打算何時回到宣教禾場，那就更好了。

Kellen and I are reading the Book of Joshua and it has come to the story of God leading the Israelite to take the city Jericho and the town Ai. We have been very much healed and encouraged through what we have learned from it. It’s not our strength, experiences or wisdom that we can rely on to accomplish what God has called as for. God could have had it all done with the Word out of Himself. But He would rather draw us to Him and have us belong to Him alone through having us listen to Him and follow Him closely step by step.

我和Kellen正在讀約書亞記中上帝帶領以色列人攻打耶利哥及艾城的事蹟，並且從中受到醫治與鼓舞。我們受上帝呼召，完成使命，並不是靠著自己的才能、經驗及智慧。上帝只要憑祂而出的話語，就可以達成這一切。然而，上帝寧願讓我們一步一步緊緊聽從祂、跟隨祂，好讓我們親近祂且單單屬於祂。

3. Because of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan, all day care centers for seniors have to shut down. My old Pa-Pa is now under great pressure taking care of my mom. May God look after my parents.

由於新冠肺炎疫情在台灣爆發，所有的日照中心必須關閉。我年邁的父親照顧我母親，承受很大的壓力。求神看顧我的父母。

4. May God give wisdom to the worker to solve the problem of the house so that we wouldn’t have to worry about the flood while we are not in Taiwan.

求神賞賜智慧給修繕房子的工作人員，好讓我們不在台灣時不用擔心房子淹水的問題。

5. This update has been presented to you through “Google Site”. We are supposed to move everything in the old platform of “Google Site” to the updated version of it before Google shuts down the old one. May God guide us to overcome some technical difficulties.

目前我們使用舊版本的Google協作平台來呈現我們的代禱信。最近我們被通知要在Google關閉舊版本協作平台之前，改用新的版本。我們發現，資料在兩個平台之間轉換時，有許多技術問題必須克服。求神指引我們。
