Thank you for faithfully praying for us. The “kitchen therapy” seems to work. My fever is gone. And I am not feeling weak now.
代禱勇士們，收信平安：
感謝您忠心地為我們禱告。「廚房療法」似乎湊效，我不再發燒，也不感到虛弱了。
Thank God that Douglas helped me repair and old sewing machine in the house. That allows me to practice some sewing though almost all my tools are staying in Ambunti. “Sewing therapy” seems to work with me, too. I made a shawl, turn a pair of unfit trousers into a carrying bag, and altered a skirt, turning it from elastic banded into a wraparound.
感謝上帝，道格拉斯幫我修理了屋子裡的舊縫紉機。這讓我可以練習一些縫紉，即使絕大部分的工具都留在安布恩提。「縫紉療法」似乎對我也有效。我做了一條披肩、把一條不合身的褲子變成一個手提包，也把一條鬆緊帶裙改成綁帶一片裙。
Before I cried for help with frustration and Douglas found the key flaw of the sewing machine, it had taken me two days trying many ways to get it right. The stitches had got loops underneath. He realized that the screw of the side board of the machine was lose and it clinked with every stitch. After he fastened the screw, the stitches became perfect. It rescued me from the frustration. And of course, I had to tear off all the bad stitches to be able to redo all my sewing work of the previous two days. That made me come back to God and prayed that He shows me what could be clinking in my life that made my daily walk tangles.
在道格拉斯修好縫紉機之前，縫出來的每一針縫底下都是線圈，我花了兩天，嘗試很多方法都修不好，弄得自己很煩躁，這才向道格拉斯求救。他發現縫紉機的側板螺絲鬆鬆的，每縫一針，側板就硄啷一下。把螺絲鎖緊後，就可以做出完美的針縫了。這才把我從沮喪循環中解套出來。當然，我得把之前兩天縫不好的縫線全部拆掉重做。這件事讓我回到上帝跟前，祈求祂讓我看見，什麼事會在我的生命中硄啷硄啷地糾結我每日的所思所行。

就當放下各樣的重擔，脫去容易纏累我們的罪，存心忍耐，奔那擺在我們前頭的路程，仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌。---希伯來書12:1b, 2a
We are very grateful for sufficient power, water and network. There are blackouts more than three-fourths of the time in Wewak now. We live on batteries. When there is power, we charge up all the batteries for the lights, fans, phones and computers. Water in dry season needs to be used cautiously. And surprisingly, the network is good enough for Douglas to do long-distance computer training with the staff in Ambunti and hold on-line meetings.
為足夠的電力、用水及網路感恩。現在威瓦克有四分之三以上的時間停電，我們就仰賴電池。有電的時候，就趕緊把燈、風扇、手機和電腦的電池通通充滿。旱季時的用水也要十分謹慎。令人驚訝的是，這時網路竟然足以讓道格拉斯與安布恩提的工作人員進行遠距電腦培訓及舉行線上會議。

4. Douglas is in charge of ministries of PIM in Ambunti, Wewak and the USA, working day and night with multi-tasks. May God bless him with good health.
道格拉斯主理PIM在安布恩提、威瓦克及美國的眾多事工，身兼多職、日夜工作。求神保守他身體健康。
5. The Education Department of PNG is having a project with PIM, distributing 100,000 copies of religious education textbooks to high schools in all provinces in PNG. PIM is facing difficulties in finding representatives in all different areas. May God pave the way and grant His divine wisdom. 新幾內亞教育部與PIM目前有一個合作方案，即發送十萬份宗教教育教科書到各省的公立中學。PIM要在各地區找代辦人員有很大困難。求神開路、賞賜智慧。
6. My work visa has not been approved yet, and my passport is in the tube. May God pave our path. Sandy 的工作簽證還核發下來，護照也還在政府部門，求神開路。
7. May God heal Douglas’ swollen ankle.
願上帝治癒道格拉斯腫脹的腳踝。
8. May God grant His mercy in my old parents’ financial needs, take care of them, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神憐憫Sandy年邁父母的財務需要、看顧他們，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
