Shalom, dear all!

Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Douglas came back to PNG last Wednesday. Then, we went to Popondetta, delivering religion education textbooks to a school from our former publisher and finding a new book distributor.

代禱勇士們，收信平安：

感謝您忠心地為我們禱告。道格拉斯上週三回到新幾內亞。然後，我們去了波彭狄塔，從我們原先的出版商那裏把宗教教育教科書送到學校，並且找到將來可以為PIM發書的代理人。 

It was the first trip to Popondetta for both Douglas and me. And we knew no one there. The day before we went, we tried to contact the manager of the Popondetta branch of our former publisher and found out that he was not in town. As we were wondering how we could achieve our work in half a working day, we got to know the bishop of Anglican Church of Popondetta who happened to be in POM for a conference and stayed in the same guest house as we did. Thank God for providing help about time through the bishop.             

 
對於道格拉斯和我，這是第一次到波彭狄塔。我們在那裏不認識任何人。在我們去的前一天，我們試圖聯繫我們前出版商在那裏分店的經理，發現他不在那裏。當我們在思考我們該怎麼在半個工作天完成我們的工作時，竟然結識了波彭狄塔聖公會主教，他碰巧到首都參加會議，和我們下榻同一所旅社。感謝上帝透過主教給我們提供及時的協助。

Douglas took 7 flights in 7 days. He seems to adopt to busy days like this, and is able to dive into work anytime and anywhere. But it takes me time to get used to sleeping in different rooms. Plus, I had been very busy in class for several weeks before we traveled, I started having a fever. Now, we are back to Wewak, waiting for my work visa and passport to be released, and allowing me to recover from my illness. Douglas says that I need some “kitchen therapy”. Maybe he is right. Anyway, we trust God’s good wills and beautiful plan.
道格拉斯在七天內搭了七班飛機。他似乎習慣這樣忙碌的生活，能夠隨時隨地投入工作。但是我還需要調適一直換房間睡覺的生活，加上旅途之前好幾周忙碌地上課，我開始發燒了。現在我們暫時回到威瓦克，一邊等我的工作簽證和護照放行，一邊讓我養養身體。道格拉斯說我需要「廚房療法」，或許他說對了。總之，我們相信神有祂美善的旨意與美好的計畫。

Douglas told me that he was glad he could go to the tax office in person yesterday. There were some complex issues that the local staff would not be able to dealt with or be willing to report.  It was good that God made us stay here.    
昨天，道格拉斯告訴我，幸好他親自到國稅局一趟。有一些複雜的問題是當地同工處理不了也不會回報的。上帝讓我們留下來自有美好的用意。

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

耶和華說：我的意念非同你們的意念；我的道路非同你們的道路。 天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的道路高過你們的道路；我的意念高過你們的意念。 雨雪從天而降，並不返回，卻滋潤地土，使地上發芽結實，使撒種的有種，使要吃的有糧。 我口所出的話也必如此，決不徒然返回，卻要成就我所喜悅的，在我發他去成就（發他去成就：或譯所命定）的事上必然亨通。 你們必歡歡喜喜而出來，平平安安蒙引導。大山小山必在你們面前發聲歌唱；田野的樹木也都拍掌。---以賽亞書55:8-12

1.  May God be in charge of the fuel crisis in PNG.願上帝在新幾內亞的燃油危機中掌權。

2.   May God protect all our staff in Ambunti and Wewak, and all PIM teachers who serve in remote villages.  求神保護PIM在安布恩提及威瓦克所有的工作人員，以及在偏鄉服務的所有PIM學校教師。

3.   PIM staff just reported that there were armed robbers on East Sepik River, robbing canoes with cargoes near Pagwi. May God protect PIM staff that frequently escort PIM resource from Pagwi to Ambunti, and from Ambunti to many villages in the basin of East Sepik River. PIM工作同仁剛剛報告說，在東希比克河近來有持槍盜匪，搶奪帕格維附近載送貨物的獨木舟。求神保守PIM的工作人員，他們常常護送PIM物資從帕格維到安布恩提及從安布恩提到東希比克河流域的很多村落。

4.   Douglas is in charge of ministries of PIM in Ambunti, Wewak and the USA, working day and night with multi-tasks. May God bless him with good health. 道格拉斯主理PIM在安布恩提、威瓦克及美國的眾多事工，身兼多職、日夜工作。求神保守他身體健康。

5.  The Education Department of PNG is having a project with PIM, distributing 100,000 copies of religious education textbooks to high schools in all provinces in PNG. PIM is facing difficulties in finding representatives in all different areas. May God pave the way and grant His divine wisdom.  新幾內亞教育部與PIM目前有一個合作方案，即發送十萬份宗教教育教科書到各省的公立中學。PIM要在各地區找代辦人員有很大困難。求神開路、賞賜智慧。

6.   My work visa has not been approved yet, and my passport is in the tube. May God pave our path.  Sandy 的工作簽證還核發下來，護照也還在政府部門，求神開路。

7.   May God heal Douglas’ swollen ankle.  願上帝治癒道格拉斯腫脹的腳踝。

8.    May God take care of my old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.願神看顧Sandy年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
