Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Our car is supposed to reach Lae now. It will take time for it to come to Wewak due to port congestion that happens all the time. Pastor Joseph kindly takes it over to monitor the progress. Kellen and I are not sure if we know how to drive that car. So, when it comes, we will need the pastors to help us drive it to our place.
各位代禱勇士，收信平安。
感謝大家忠心代禱。我們的車現在應該已經運到萊城了，因為塞港是經常發生的事，所以應該還要一段日子才會抵達威瓦克。約瑟夫牧師很好心地接手監控流程的工作。我跟Kellen其實不知道我們懂不懂開那輛車，所以車子抵達的時候，還是得麻煩牧師們幫我們把車開到我們的住處。
I would like to gladly announce to you my upcoming wedding that is going to take place next month. Surprised?! Yes, of course. I am, too. I had thought that I would never seeing anyone since 2011, the year I started participating ministries in PNG. And it is an extra wonderful blessing from God that Mr. Douglas Heidema, who has served in PNG since 1978, and I are going to become husband and wife on the 13th of August. We would like you to support us with your prayers. May God rule in our marriage and make us witness to His Golry.
在此Sandy很愉悅地向大家宣布我下個月就要結婚了。您很驚訝吧？是的，我自己也很驚訝。自從2011年開始參與新幾內亞宣教事工，我就認為自己不會再與任何對象交往了。沒想到神給我超乎所想的賜福，八月十三日Sandy就要與1978年就來到新幾內亞服事的宣教士道格拉斯‧海德馬先生結為夫妻。誠願大家以禱告扶持我們，願神在我們的婚姻中做主，並使用我們見證祂的榮耀。
When I came to PNG this year, I hopped on the plane, wearing tongs and without bringing any shoes or sneakers. My suitcases and unaccompanied baggage were full of tools, books and COVID musts. Who would know that what I need now is an extra-large wedding dress plus wedding shoes? As it is impossible to buy them in Wewak, not even the materials, some church ladies in Taiwan are trying hard and helping me with them. And it is not easy to “try on” a dress online, I might end up having to make the dress on my own.
今年我來新幾內亞的時候是穿著夾腳拖上飛機的，連一雙鞋都沒帶。我的行李箱還有後送行李裝滿了工具、書籍和防疫用品，誰會知道我現在需要的是一件特大號的西式結婚禮服和鞋子呢？這些在威瓦克都是不可能買到的，連材料都買不到。所以，在台灣幾位姊妹已經努力在幫我尋尋覓覓了。然而隔空試衣實在不容易，很有可能到最後我必須自己製作那件特大號的結婚禮服……

求神賜福給新幾內亞，在這個選舉的月份中賜下平安與智慧。
2. May God enable the government to efficiently arrange proper settlement for those who lost their home in the fight in Wewak.
求神保守政府能夠有效率幫助威瓦克在爭鬥事件中失去家園的村民，使他們有適當的地點安頓下來。
3. Due to the shortage of fuel, commercial transportation has been seriously cut down. That has caused significant inflationary spike in town. And it would quite possibly develop more social security issue if it lasts too long. May God be in charge.
由於燃油短缺造成商務交通運輸大量砍減，導致鎮上物價明顯上漲，久之恐怕釀成更多治安問題。求神掌權。
4. May God protect our fruit of work in Ambunti and inspire the students to start Dorcas Fellowship in their churches.
求神保守我們在安布恩提做工的果效，激勵學員們在教會興起多加團契。
5. We are developing the teaching scheme of the Level Two sewing course. May God grant us His Divine Wisdom.
我們正在研發第二級縫紉課程的教案。求神賞賜屬天的智慧。
6. May God be in charge of the shipment of our car and bring it to us at the right time.
求神在我們車子運送過程中掌權，保守它在適當時間抵達威瓦克。。
7. May God give us wisdom and insight while working with churches and other organizations.
求神給我們智慧與洞察的心，讓我們可以順利與眾教會及其他機構配搭。
8. May God guide us in preparation for the wedding and provide everything needed at about time.
求神在婚禮的預備工作上引導我們，並且逢時供應一切所需。
9. May God take care of our old parents, grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神看顧我們年邁的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
