Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for faithfully praying for us. Douglas’ mole removing surgery went well. He came back to Wewak from Cairns on Sunday, the 11th . This afternoon, we received the report for the clinic in cairns that the lesion had been totally cleared out. We are glad that he has come back in time and we are able to celebrated our second wedding anniversary together today.

代禱勇士們，收信平安：

感謝您忠心為我們禱告。道格拉斯的除痣手術很順利。他於11日星期日從凱恩斯回到威瓦克。今天下午，我們收到了凱恩斯診所的報告，病變之處已經完全清除。很慶幸他可以及時趕回來，今天我們一起慶祝了結婚二周年紀念日。

The shopping for the sewing resource has been partly done. We have purchased and arranged the transportation for 3 industrial sewing machines to go to Ambunti by truck and motorboat. Another 3 have been ordered and will hopefully arrive at the end of the year. Since YAMAHA recently stopped their department of manufacturing motors and generator, and all the others in town are brands that have the reputation of their short-lasting generators, the purchase of the generator for South Sea Evangelical Church has to be put off. Seeing several stores we have visited in town happen to suffer from their own generators breakdown, we take it as a sign that God would like us to slow down and pray more for God’s guidance in the sewing resource shopping.
縫紉資源的採購已經部分完成。我們購買了三部工業縫紉機，並安排了透過陸路及水路運輸到安布恩提的卡車以及摩托艇。另外又已訂購三部，預計今年底到達。此外，由於YAMAHA最近停止了生產馬達和發電機的部門，而鎮上其他品牌都是以發電機壽命不長而聞名，因此為南海福音堂購置發電機的採購不得不推延。看到鎮上的幾家商店都發生了發電機故障的情況，我們認為這也是上帝希望我們放慢腳步，多祈禱尋求上帝對我們購買縫紉資源的引導。

We have booked the flight to go back to Ambunti on Thursday, the 15th. And we can’t wait to dive back into our ministry there after being away for four and a half months.
我們已經預訂了15號星期四返回安布恩提的航班。轉眼已經離開那裏四個半月了，真是迫不及待趕快回去繼續我們在那裡的事工。

1.   May God be in charge of the fuel crisis, currency policy, and economy development in PNG.
求神在新幾內亞的燃油危機、貨幣政策以及經濟發展中掌權。

2.    Mission Aviation Fellowship is facing severe shortage of manpower, aircrafts and fuel. May God has His mercy on the great aviation needs of missionaries in PNG.   
宣教飛行團契正面對人力、飛機及燃油的嚴重短缺，願上帝憐憫在新幾內亞宣教士們的大量飛行需要。

3.  Due to the fuel crisis in PNG, the price of petrol has increased 2 times recently. And it is even not available for ordinary people. This will hinder PIM from bringing the 50+ PIM school teachers to Ambunti by motor boat for the teachers’ on-job training in the beginning of September. May God .
由於新幾內亞的燃油危機，汽油價格近來上漲了兩倍，甚至是一般人買也買不到。這將阻礙PIM在9月初以動力船將50多名PIM學校教師帶到安布恩提參加教師在職培訓。願上帝賜給新幾內亞政府智慧解決燃料危機。

4.  Over the past year, due to the banking policy of PNG, it has been taking long hours in banking work each week for PIM staff to transfer the funds and to withdraw in order to keep the ministries going. May God rule over the banking issue.  
近一年來，由於新幾內亞的銀行政策，PIM工作人員每週都要花很長時間在銀行處理資金的匯存及提領，才得以維持事工的運作。願上帝在銀行事務的難題中掌權。

5.  With multi-duties, Douglas works day and night. May God grant he good health.
道格拉斯身兼眾多職務。願上帝賞賜給他健康的身體。

6.  May God bless us with a safe journey from Wewak to Ambunti on Thrsday the 15th.  
願上帝保守我們15日星期四從威瓦克飛往安布恩提旅途平安。

7.   May God grant us His divine guidance in purchasing the generator for South Sea Evangelical Church in Ambunti.
願上帝在我們為安布恩提南海福音教會購買發電機的事上，指引我們。

8.   My mother is not recovering well from a fractured arm. May God heal her.
Sandy的媽媽手臂的骨折復原狀況不佳，求神醫治她。

9.   May God grant His mercy in my old parents’ financial needs, take care of them, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願神憐憫Sandy年邁父母的財務需要、看顧他們，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。

10.   May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願神看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
