Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for praying faithfully for us. Prayers are what missionaries need the most, especially when we don’t send our updates as often as we usually do.
感謝您忠心地為我們禱告。禱告是宣教士最需要的，尤其是當我們不像往常一樣頻繁發送代禱信之時。
Douglas and I have been having a cold since March 27th. We both have bad sinus infections that irritate our eyes and jaws. And I even have had an ear infection that a course of Amoxicillin didn’t work well with. This Monday I started a 10-day course of Doxycycline. The doctor also recommended that we use some auxiliary therapies to clear the entire nasal duct. And we have followed the instructions.
道格拉斯和我從三月27日起就一直感冒。兩個人鼻竇炎蠻嚴重的，眼睛和下巴都很不舒服。我甚至連耳朵都感染了，服用阿莫西林一個療程也沒有治癒。本週一我開始了為期 10 天的強力黴素療程。醫生還建議我們使用一些順通整個鼻腔管道的輔助療法。我們都照著做。
Douglas’ days are as busy as usual even when he is sick and feeling lousy, while I have almost been confined in the hotel room. All of our trips to visiting relatives were cancelled due to my health condition. We hope we will both get well before we start our journey back to PNG on April 26th.
道格拉斯即使生病、身體不舒服，日子也像往常一樣忙碌，而我卻幾乎只能待在飯店房間裡。由於我的健康狀況，我們所有探親的行程都只好取消。希望能在我們4 月 26 日動身返回新幾內亞之前，身體痊癒。

1. May God be in charge of the fuel crisis, currency policy, and economy development in PNG.
求神在新幾內亞的燃油危機、貨幣政策以及經濟發展中掌權。
2. Due to the new banking policy of PNG, it has been taking long hours in banking work each week for PIM staff to transfer the funds and to withdraw in order to keep the ministries going. May God rule over the banking issue.
由於新幾內亞新的銀行政策，PIM工作人員每週都要花很長時間在銀行處理資金的匯存及提領，才得以維持事工的運作。求神在銀行事務中掌權。
3. May God be in charge at the PIM USA boards’ meeting that is going to be held on 25th of April.
美國PIM將於四月25日召開理監事會，求上帝在會中掌權。
4. May God grant His Divine guidance in further direction of Dorcas Ministry of PIM (training sewing teachers for churches).
求上帝指引我們PIM多加事工(訓練縫紉教師以協助教會外展事工)進一步的走向。
5. May God bless the ladies who serve God through Dorcas Fellowship and sewing resource supplements: Beverlyn, Jennifer Y, Mrs. Kasen and Merolyn. Especially, three of them have difficulty in their children’s school fees.
求上帝恩待透過多加團契及供應縫紉資源來服事上帝的這幾位婦女：貝芙琳、珍妮芙·Y、卡森太太及梅若琳。尤其，七中三位婦女還欠著子女學費。
6. May God heal Douglas and me so that we are not going to suffer too bad from our long journey back to PNG.
願上帝治愈道格拉斯和我，讓我們在返回新幾內亞的漫長旅途中不會遭受太大不適。。
7. Douglas and I are leaving USA for PNG on April 26th and supposed to arrive in Wewak on May 1st. May God grant us a smooth journey.
道格拉斯和我將於 4 月 26 日離開美國動身前往新幾內亞，預計 5 月 1 日抵達威瓦克。願上帝保守我們一路平安。
8. May our merciful God take care of my old parents who both suffer from dementia, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願憐憫的上帝看顧Sandy年邁失智的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
9. May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願上帝看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
