Thank you for your faithful interceding. Last Thursday (January 22, 2026), we finally returned safely to Ambunti.
This trip to Taiwan was originally planned to last only two weeks, but it unexpectedly extended to a total of five months.

各位代禱勇士：感謝您在主前代求。上個星期四（2026 年 1 月 22 日），我們終於平安回到了安布恩提（Ambunti）。
這一次回台灣，原本只要停留兩週，沒想到一共待了五個月。

My mother passed away suddenly in September, and there were many family matters that required my personal attention, which led to the extended stay in Taiwan.

因為母親在九月份突然過世，家中有許多事情需要我親自處理，因此不得不在台灣停留較長的一段時間。

During this time in Taiwan, I often felt mentally foggy and overwhelmed by constant responsibilities, which eventually affected my health.
By the time I left Taiwan, my cough had become quite severe. I caught a cold on December 8, and even now, I am still not fully recovered.

在台灣的這段時間，我常覺得頭腦昏昏沉沉，每天忙於處理各樣事情，後來甚至忙到生病。
離開台灣時，我的咳嗽已經非常嚴重，從 12 月 8 日開始感冒，到現在仍然尚未痊癒。

One moment I am especially thankful for during this return was being reunited with my old friend Badi in Port Moresby.
I first met Badi in 1992 on the gospel ship Doulos.

In 2011, God once again used Badi as an important confirmation of my calling to serve in Papua New Guinea.
Although we had occasional contact over the years, met briefly once in 2015,  it was not until this month that we were able to meet again in Port Moresby.

When we counted the years, we realized we have known each other for thirty-four years.
God’s guidance in our lives has been truly remarkable, and we are grateful that we are both still faithfully serving Him—encouraging one another and bearing witness together.

這次回到新幾內亞，有一件讓我非常感恩的事，就是在首都莫斯比與老朋友**芭蒂（Badi）再次相遇。
我是在 1992 年於福音船「忠僕號 Doulos」**上認識芭蒂的。

在 2011 年，上帝再次使用芭蒂，成為我來到新幾內亞服事的一個重要印證。
我們在 2011 年來到新幾內亞時見過一次，中間也曾短暫相遇，但因各自忙碌，一直到這個月，才又在莫斯比再次重逢。

算一算，我們已經認識三十四年了。
上帝在我們生命中的帶領實在奇妙，我們也都仍然忠心地站在服事祂的崗位上，成為彼此的鼓勵與見證。

This time, we traveled back to Ambunti by road and boat, as the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is currently short of pilots and unable to operate small aircraft flights for us.

這次回到安布恩提，我們是搭車並轉乘船隻前來的，因為飛行團契 MAF 目前駕駛員不足，無法安排小型飛機的航班。

After returning, life here looks much the same as before. There is still much to be done to restore and organize our living environment.

As this is a remote area, many supplies must be retrieved from the store room, cleaned, and prepared before they can be used again.

回到這裡後，生活狀況與以往一樣，仍需要花許多時間整理居住環境。
由於這裡是偏鄉地區，許多物資需要從倉庫中取出重新整理、清洗，才能再次使用。

Last week and this week, the PIM headquarters training center in Ambunti has been hosting an in-service training program for rural primary school teachers.
More than one hundred teachers are participating, and their strong enthusiasm for learning has brought great energy and liveliness to Ambunti.

上週與本週，安布恩提的 PIM 總部訓練中心正舉辦一場偏鄉小學教師的在職訓練。
這次共有超過一百位教師參與，他們非常熱衷學習，也為安布恩提帶來了許多活力與熱鬧的氣氛。

In addition, a family from Austria arrived in Ambunti today with their two young children.
They were invited by our late missionary partner Friedemann before his passing. Although Friedemann went home to be with the Lord shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, this family has faithfully honored their commitment and will be staying for several weeks to help us in ministry.

此外，今天有一個來自奧地利的家庭，帶著兩位年幼的孩子抵達安布恩提。
他們是我們已故宣教夥伴 Friedman 生前所邀請來短宣的家庭。雖然 Friedman 去年在被診斷為胰臟癌後不久便安息主懷，但這個家庭仍然信守承諾，來到這裡，並將停留幾個星期，在事工上協助我們。

代禱事項 Prayer Requests

1.     Papua New Guinea – national situation
Please pray for public safety, rising costs caused by the fuel crisis, and wisdom for government decisions.
請為新幾內亞的治安、燃油危機所引發的物價上漲，以及政府的各項決策代禱。

2.   Gospel ship Doulos Hope
Please pray for Doulos Hope as it prepares to arrive in Port Moresby at the end of February—for onshore preparations, volunteer recruitment, and smooth cooperation with local churches.
請為 Doulos Hope 於二月底即將抵達波莫斯比代禱，求主保守各地陸地籌備、義工招募，以及與眾教會之間的配搭。

3.   My father and my brother’s family in Taiwan
Please pray for my elderly father’s physical and emotional well-being after my mother’s passing, and for my brother as he carries the heavy responsibility of caring for him. Also pray for protection and blessing over my brother’s family in their studies, work, and daily lives.
我在台灣的父親與弟弟一家
請為我年邁父親在母親過世後的身心狀況代禱，也為弟弟在照顧父親的重擔中，能得著力量與平安；並求神保守弟弟一家在學業、工作與出入上的平安。

4.   Our life and ministry in Ambunti
Please pray for our adjustment to life in Ambunti, the ongoing work of restoring our living environment, and the ministries we are involved in. Pray also for grace and wisdom in our relationships with the local community.
我們在安布恩提的生活與服事
請為我們在安布恩提的生活適應、居住環境的整理，以及手中各樣事工的推展代禱，也求主保守我們與當地人的關係，滿有恩典與智慧。

5.     My health
Please pray for my physical health. I am still struggling with a persistent cough, back pain, and fatigue. Pray for God’s healing and renewed strength.
 請為我的身體代禱，目前仍有持續的咳嗽，以及背痛、腰痠尚未改善，求主醫治並恢復體力，使我能有足夠的力量回到服事中。

6.   Douglas hurt his toes when getting off the tractor last Saturday.  And the swollen on his foot has getting worse. Please pray for recovery.
道格拉斯上星期六從拖拉機下來時腳趾受傷。腳掌腫脹愈來愈嚴重。求上帝醫治。

7.   The Austrian short-term mission family
Please pray for the family from Austria with their two young children—for their adjustment to the environment in Ambunti, safety, health, and for God’s blessing on their service and our partnership together.
請為這個來自奧地利、帶著兩位年幼孩子的家庭代禱，求主保守他們在安布恩提的環境適應、安全、健康，也祝福他們在這裡的服事與我們之間的配搭。
