Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for praying faithfully for us. My mother has moved to normal ward from the quarantine. Sadly, she doesn’t understand at all what the rehabilitation therapist says. My brother will have to put her to a care center until he successfully heirs a foreign caregiver.
親愛的代禱勇士，平安！
感謝大家為忠心為我們禱告。Sandy的媽媽已經從隔離病房轉至普通病房。可惜她不能聽懂復健治療師的指令。弟弟在順利雇請外籍看護人員之前，必須先將媽媽安置在養護中心。
Beverlyn and Jennifer are still recovering from their injuries. But they do not stop working at all, making a lot of sewing works for selling at the Ambunti Crocodile Festival, and helping me with the housework. Jennifer is trained by Douglas to use a heavy-duty vacuum cleaner and we trust her to use it properly. So, she can do the cleaning work in other flats in PIM Mission House.
貝芙琳與珍妮芙的傷勢還沒好全，但是她們一點都沒放下工作。除了在我這裡幫傭，還做了很多縫紉作品要在鱷魚節販賣。經過道格拉斯的訓練，我們認證珍妮芙已能正確地使用專業型吸塵器，她也能接下打掃PIM其他宣教士宿舍的工作。
Now she can talk to me about her fear, her loss and her present condition. Until today did I not know that, on the day she was attacked, she had to climb mountain after mountain with her bleeding arm without any food until she reached her home village where the clinic accepted her the next day morning. I am glad that she now comes to the stage that she can talk about it. Though she is very much in need, one of the very few items she has asked of me is a Bible.
現在她已經能夠侃侃而談，告訴我她的恐懼、她的失落，以及她目前的狀況。直到今天我才知道，在她受到攻擊的那天，即使手臂流著血，她還是得餓著肚子走路翻山越嶺，走到隔天早上才到達她的本家村落。在那裏的診所收下她。幸好她現在來到這個可以說出來的階段了。即使在極度缺乏的時候，她開口跟我要的東西並不多，其中一項是一本聖經。

Though the court case of the riot in June has started, the area of Amunti High School is still not safe. The families, including Jennifer’s, whose houses were burned down cannot go back yet. Neither can they go to their fields to work on their produces. Gaining food will be a problem for them as villagers don’t have other accesses to create income. Some of them are even camping near the property of Amunti PIM Elementary School. PIM has donated a load of food. However, long term supply is beyond our budget. We have to pray that the court case be done soon and their life be back to normal before further community issues occur.
雖然六月份暴動的官司已經展開，安布恩提中學周遭區域仍然很不安全。房屋遭燒毀的家庭(包括珍妮芙的家族)還不能回去，也無法到他們的農地種收他們的農產。村民們沒有其他收入來源，如此一來他們連吃飯都成問題。有一些家庭甚至在PIM於安布恩提的小學校區附近搭篷而居。PIM已經捐贈一批食物，但是畢竟我們的預算無法長期供應。我們得好好禱告，希望在引起進一步社區問題之前，官司盡快處理，他們的生活得以恢復正常。
More than usual number of PIM staff have had some accidents during the past 2 weeks. Thank God that they have recovered from the injuries except Ishmael who fell off a tree and broke his arm, and John who was thrown out from the back of the truck on the way back to Amunti from Wewak and is severely sore on the shoulder and the chest. By the way, PIM’s van in Wewak was sent to the workshop to have a repair. But the worker at shop damaged the rear door and window and, therefore, created more repair work to do. Our staff are driving the car with a wooden board attached at the back for a few weeks since the window is not available in Wewak.
不知怎地，PIM的工作人員這兩個星期發生意外的案例也挺多。感謝上帝，他們的傷勢都復原了。現在只有以實瑪利和約翰還沒好。前者是從樹上摔下來，手臂骨折。後者是從威瓦克返回安布恩提時，從卡車後面被甩出車外，現在肩膀和胸部還是劇烈疼痛。另外，PIM在威瓦克的公務車送保養廠維修，結果維修廠的工人不小心撞壞後車門，也撞破窗戶。這下要修理的地方更多了！那個車子後面的玻璃現在威瓦克缺貨，要等數周才能換新的。
I just announced that I felt settled down in my last update. And now we are working on wrapping up our present tasks, moving our belongings to the store room, and getting ready to leave again. Starting our journey to Taiwan, we have booked the flight to leave Ambunti on August 13th. I have started feeling the stress of living out of the suitcase.
好像在我上一則代禱信才跟大家說我有安定下來的感覺。現在，我們又要趕快收尾手邊的工作、把私人用品逐漸收到儲藏室，準備再次遠行。我們訂了八月13日離開安布恩提的飛機，展開回台灣的旅途。我又開始感受奔波的壓力啦！

3. Ambunti High School stopped school due to the riot happening on June 10th we can’t see the hope for the school to restart yet. May God be in charge.
安布恩提中學因六月10日發生的暴動停課至今尚未見復課的盼頭。求上帝掌權。
4. May God grant His Divine Healing to Beverlyn and Jennifer Y, and many other wounded people in the riot in Ambunti that happened this month.
求上帝將屬天的醫治賞賜貝芙琳、珍妮芙·Y，以及其他在本月安布恩提暴動事件中身心受傷的人。
5. May God grant His Divine Wisdom to the judges that they deal with the court case of the riot righteously.
求上帝將屬天的智慧賞賜給法官按公義處理暴動事件的案情。
6. May God grant peace in the community during the Ambunti Crocodile Festival (August 5th -7th ).
求上帝在安布恩提鱷魚節期間(八月5-7日)保守社區平安。
7. May God grant His Divine guidance in further direction of Dorcas Ministry of PIM (training sewing teachers for churches).
求上帝指引我們PIM多加事工(訓練縫紉教師以協助教會外展事工)進一步的走向。
8. May God bless us that the MAF plane is available to pick us up in Ambunti on August 13th.
求上帝保守，讓MAF的飛機在八月13日能順利來安布恩提接我們。
9. May God watch over my mom, making her get used to staying in the care center.
求上帝看顧Sandy的媽媽，讓她適應養護中心的生活。
10. May God give my brother wisdom in arranging helpers and communicating with related organizations.
求上帝賞賜足夠智慧給Sandy的弟弟，讓他能好好安排看護人員、與相關機構人員溝通。
11. May our merciful God take care of my old parents who both suffer from dementia, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願憐憫的上帝看顧Sandy年邁失智的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
12. May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願上帝看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
