Shalom, dear all!
Thank you for praying faithfully for us. We resumed the sewing training last week. Finishing the project of the choir robe collar piece and other small projects give us the feeling of life coming on track. And the Bible scriptures we have read at our devotion seem so real to us, giving us comfort, courage, and guidance.
親愛的代禱勇士，平安！
感謝大家為忠心為我們禱告。我們的縫紉訓練班上星期五復課。完成詩班袍領片的以及其它小作品，讓我們有生活回到軌道上的感覺。我們在課堂靈修時間讀的經文此時更顯鮮明，給我們安慰、鼓勵與引導。
Do not fret because of those who are evil or
be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。
因為他們如草快被割下，又如青菜快要枯乾。
你當倚靠耶和華而行善，
住在地上，以他的信實為糧；
又要以耶和華為樂，
他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。

Beverlyn’s wounds on the leg and Jennifer’s wounds dried up on the outside but there are inflammations in the inside. They are, therefore, waiting for the doctor to come to Ambunti and giving them prescriptions and further treatments. (There is a hospital in Ambunti which is quite big, but there are no doctors and the hospital is often short for medicines.)
貝芙琳腿上的傷及珍妮芙手臂上的傷表面上是乾了，但是裡面還有發炎。所以，她們都在等醫生到安布恩提來給予她們診療。(安布恩提有一所很大的醫院，可惜沒有醫生，藥物也常常缺乏。)
Beverlyn’s husband is a pastor. They live in the house providing by the church. Jennifer is a single mother. Her and her relatives’ houses in Ambunti and everything in them were burned down during the riot. She needs more help and accompany. I have made her come and work for me more often, and been giving her extra training. She has been enjoying learning how to draw squares and rectangles while drawing right angle lines with rulers and a compass. This is some thing very new for her. And I enjoy pick back something I haven’t done for decades, too.
貝芙琳的丈夫是位牧師，他們住在教會。珍妮芙是單親媽媽，她與親戚們在安布恩提的房子以及房子裡的一切都被燒光了。她需要較多的幫助及陪伴。我就較多把她帶在身邊，給她工作做，也給她額外的訓練。目前她正在學習用尺和圓規來畫直角線，用以製作正方形及長方形的版型。這對她來說是很新鮮的事，她還蠻喜歡學的。我自己已經幾十年沒用過圓規了，也很高興能夠重拾這份樂趣。
The ladies are still suffering from the aftershock. It’ obvious that they act much slower than they did before. It’s good that the annual Ambunti Crocodile Festival is going to be hold on the first weekend of August, and the women are supposed to make something to sell at the festival. I have prepared a lot of fabric with the pattern of PNG national flag so that they can make some clothes, scarfs, headbands, and little purses. They will make a good sale at the festival.
女士們仍然有創傷需要療癒。她們的動作明顯比以前慢了許多。幸好一年一度的安布恩提鱷魚節將於八月的第一個週末舉行，女士們應該會製作一些作品在節慶會場出售。我準備了很多印有新幾內亞國旗圖案的布料，以便她們可以製作一些衣服、圍巾、頭巾和小錢包。這些作品在節慶中應該會賣得很好。
Mrs. Kasen has had the first group of her sewing class in the church finish making the choir robes. And the women’s fellowship of Ambunti SSEC just had their hymn presentation wearing choir robes for the first time ever. Thank God for lifting us up through these small achivements when we are weak and weary.
卡森太太在教會的縫紉班完成第一梯次詩班袍製作課程。安布恩提SSEC教會婦女團契則是有史以來第一次穿著詩班袍獻詩。感謝上用這些小小成就來激勵軟弱的我們。
My family in Taiwan are facing some challenges. My mom, having been suffering from dementia since 2019, had a stroke last week and was found that there were 2 hemangiomas in her right brain. She had a fever yesterday and was found with urethritis and confirmed with COVID-19. And as my mom has been staying in the hospital since last Thursday, my dad, also suffering from dementia, is having difficulties not seeing my mom at home. He is so anxious that he keeps calling my other family members and asking where my mom has gone.
我在台灣的家人正面對許多挑戰。媽媽自2019開始罹患失智症。上星期她中風了，檢查時醫生還發現她右腦裡有兩個血管瘤。昨天她發燒，有尿道炎，並確診新冠肺炎。由於媽媽從上星期四一直到現在都在住院，同樣也患有失智症的爸爸沒看到她在家變得非常恐慌，一直打電話給家人，問媽媽到哪裡去了。

2. Ambunti High School stopped school due to the riot happening on June 10th we can’t see the hope for the school to restart yet. May God be in charge.
安布恩提中學因六月10日發生的暴動停課至今尚未見復課的盼頭。求上帝掌權。。
3. May God grant His Divine Healing to Beverlyn and Jennifer Y, and many other wounded people in the riot in Ambunti that happened this month.
求上帝將屬天的醫治賞賜貝芙琳、珍妮芙·Y，以及其他在本月安布恩提暴動事件中身心受傷的人。
4. May God grant His Divine Wisdom to the police that they continue to figure out the court case of the riot.
求上帝將屬天的智慧賞賜給警方繼續處理暴動事件的案情。
5. May God grant His Divine guidance in further direction of Dorcas Ministry of PIM (training sewing teachers for churches).
求上帝指引我們PIM多加事工(訓練縫紉教師以協助教會外展事工)進一步的走向。
6. May God watch over my mom, making her recover from urethritis and COVID.
求上帝看顧Sandy的媽媽，讓她從尿道炎及新冠肺炎得醫治。
7. May God give my brother wisdom in arranging helpers and communicating with related organizations.
求上帝賞賜足夠智慧給Sandy的弟弟，讓他能好好安排看護人員、與相關機構人員溝通。
8. May our merciful God take care of my old parents who both suffer from dementia, and grant them salvation, health, peace and joy.
願憐憫的上帝看顧Sandy年邁失智的父母，賞賜他們救恩、健康、平安及喜樂。
9. May God watch over my brother’s family：remember their hard working and traveling, and bless their work and study.
願上帝看顧Sandy弟弟的家庭，記念他們的辛勤與奔波，賜福他們的工作與學業。
