Henry Duncombe
to William Wood
5 September 1789
fol. 26. MS. letter from Henry Duncombe, Copgrove, to William Wood, Leeds, 5 September 1789 [not a copy].
Sr
At my return hither I received your favour enclosing to me the Resolutions of the Dissenting Ministers at their last Meeting.
I am happy that my conduct has merited their approbation; & concur with them most sincerely in thinking that the Arguments hitherto alledged[sic] against the Repeal of the Test & Corporation Acts are by no means satisfactory.
I am Sr with great regard
Your obliged humble
Servt
H Duncombe
