Joseph Stennett (II)

Joseph Stennett (1692-1758) was the eldest son of Joseph Stennett (1663-1713), the influential pastor of the seventh-day Baptist congregation at Pinners’ Hall, London. The younger Stennett, after a time as pastor of the Baptist meeting in Exeter, came to the congregation at Little Wild Street in 1737, where he remained until his death. His son, Samuel Stennett (1727-1795), succeeded him as pastor. See B. A. Ramsbottom, “The Stennetts,” in The British Particular Baptists, ed. Michael A. G.
