John McCannon Trew

John McCannon Trew (1792-1869) composed several pamphlets about African missions, including Africa Wasted by Britain, and Restored by Native Agency, in a Letter to the Right Honorable and Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of London (1843) and previously, An Appeal to the Christian Philanthropy of the People of Great Britain and Ireland in behalf of the Religious Instruction and Conversion of Three Hundred Thousand Negro Slaves (1826).
