Mr. Atlie of Harlington

Mr. Atlie of Harlington, Middlesex, was married to a member of William Button’s congregation at Dean Street, Southwark. Though inclined toward paedobaptism, the senior Atlie and six other individuals from Harlington were baptized by Button in 1798. That same year Atlie and the others formed a Baptist church. In 1804-1805, he was a subscriber to the Baptist Missionary Society. See  BMS Periodical Accounts, 3:130.
