Elizabeth and Joseph Timms

Elizabeth and Joseph Timms were members (he was a deacon) in the Kettering church during the tenure of Andrew Fuller. According to the Kettering Church Book, she died on December 1, 1795, aged 78, having originally been a member of the Baptist church at Foxton (f. 1). Joseph Tims joined the church in 1742 and died on September 11, 1787 (Kettering Church Book, f. 1). His son, Joseph, jun., joined the church in 1775 and was one of thirteen signatories at the initial formation of the BMS in the house of Mrs. Beeby Wallis on October 2, 1792, at Kettering. He was evenutally excluded from the church in 1813 (f. 3).
