David Day

David Day (d. 1862) – After spending several years as a pastor in Speen, near Newbury, Day was appointed as a BMS missionary to Jamaica in November 1837. His wife died during their first year in Jamaica. Day then married the niece of J. M. Phillippo and remained in Jamaica for the next twenty-two years, working mostly in churches in the parish of St. Mary until his death in 1862.
