David Bradberry

David Bradberry (1735-1803) was the Independent pastor at Cannon Street, Manchester, between 1785 and 1793.  He was a convert of George Whitefield, and was educated at the Mile End Academy in London under John Conder and John Walker. He preached his first sermon at Ramsgate, Kent, in 1767, and was shortly thereafter called as pastor to that congregation, where he was ordained on 24 October 1770.  Whitefield preached his last two sermons in England in late 1769 at Ramsgate for Bradberry.  Bradberry removed to Glover’s Hall, London, in 1793, and died there in 1802.
