Joseph Lloyd

Joseph Lloyd was a bookseller at 6 Wine Street, Bristol; most of his imprints were works by Unitarian writers. He was probably a member at the Unitarian meeting at Lewin’s Mead, for he sold a number of works by the church’s pastor, John Prior Estlin. This was the same church that Mary Scott would attend during her time in Bristol just prior to her death in 1793 and where Mary Hays would attend when she lived in Bristol from late 1814 into late 1816 and early 1817.
