John Evans, Foxton

John Evans  studied at Bristol Academy before serving as pastor of the Baptist congregation in Foxton, Northamptonshire, 1751-81. He was one of the founders of the Northamptonshire Baptist Association, composing the first circular letter in 1765; he was also moderator of the Association meeting and writer of the circular letter in 1774.
