William Clarke

William Clarke (1732-95)  ministered to the congregation at Unicorn Yard, Southwark, from 1762 to 1784. In the late 1760s he began tutoring prospective Baptist ministerial students in his home, receiving students through the Particular Baptist Fund.  After leaving Unicorn Yard, he supplied for a time at Carlton in Northamptonshire before removing Bampton, Devon, in 1787. He left Bampton early in 1791 and appears to have spent his final years in Exeter.
