Craven District, Yorkshire, Baptists – The church at Sutton-in-Craven was pastored by John Walton from 1780-1807, followed by a short stint by F. W. Dyer, then by Joseph Gaunt from 1818-26 (183). Ministers at Cowling Hill were S. Wilkinson (1756-9); C. Sugden (1761-72); B. Cowgill (1780-86); James Shuttleworth (1788-1826) (184). James Hartley pastored at Haworth from 1748-80; Isaac Slee from 1780-84; Miles Oddy from 1785-1831; W. Winterbotham from 1831-41; and A. Berry from 1844-50 (185). The church at Bingley was formed in 1764. The church at Keighley was formed in 1812 (187). Joseph Shaw pastored from 1815-19, and Thomas Blundel from 1820-24 (188). See C. E.
