Mary Drewitt Attwater

Mary Drewitt Attwater (1746-1812) lived in Nunton, a small village next to Bodenham and about three miles from Salisbury. She was the wife of Gay Thomas Attwater, the brother of Jane Attwater Blatch; three of her daughters – Sarah (1765-1830), Maria (1783-1840), and Anna Jane (1784-1825) – never married and remained with their mother in Nunton. All attended the Baptist congregation in Brown Street in Salisbury, where John Saffery ministered for many years.
