David Lewis

David Lewis joined the Baptist congregation at Broadmead in 1764 but was excluded sometime before 1802. The Broadmead Subscription Book notes that David Lewis paid £2.2 for his pew on 14 April 1775. An entry for 6 January 1778 lists his occupation as a barber. Lewis was still paying his pew subscriptions in 1788. In 1770 Lewis also became a subscriber to the Bristol Education Society, paying £1.1 in dues.
