   I am instructed to communicate to you the following resolution of the Protestant Dissenting Ministers of the three Denominations in the West Riding of the County of York which received the unanimous concurrence of a general meeting held at Leeds Aug. 13. 1789.

 

Resolved,

        That the thanks of this meeting be transmitted by the Chairman to Henry Duncombe Esq; one of the representatives for this County, for his personal support of the late application to Parliament for the repeal of the Test & Corporation Acts & that he be assured of the grateful & respectful esteem of his dissenting constituents.

        I have also taken the liberty of enclosing a printed copy of all the Resolutions which passed on that occasion & think myself happy in an opportunity of expressing at the same time, my personal respect & esteem.
