Thomas Willcocks

Thomas Willcocks (d. 1845) studied at Homerton Academy in 1810 before assuming the pastorate of the Baptist church at Pembroke Street in Devonport in 1811, where he remained until his retirement in 1837. He authored three works late in life: Moral and Sacred Poetry (Devonport, 1829), with Thomas Horton; History of Russia, from the Foundation of the Empire, by Rurik, to the Present Time (Devonport, 1832); and Psalms and Hymns for Public and Private Worship (Devonport, 1839).
