John Simmons

John Simmons ministered for a time in Wigan, Lancashire, then at Braunston, Northamptonshire, throughout the 1790s. He was instrumental in bringing the Braunston church into the Northamptonshire Baptist Association in 1790. His son, John Edmund Simmons, studied at Bristol and eventually ministered at Stoney Stratford, Buckinghamsire, from 1823 to 1830, and then at the Union Chapel, Bluntisham, Huntingtonshire.
