Meat Mixture
2 pounds ground ham - I use my food processor
1 pound ground beef
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup tomato juice
1 cup cracker crumbs (use gluten free)
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup milk
Topping
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 cup vinegar
Mix ingredients together from meat mixture and form into balls the size of large eggs. Place close together in pan. Pour the topping over all. Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to stand several minutes before serving. Makes 30-35 balls, enough to serve 10. This is a great way to use left over ham following a holiday meal!
