Cake:
1 pkg. strawberry cake mix
10 oz. of sweetened, frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
Topping:
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 cup milk
3 cups Cool Whip
Fresh strawberries
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
For cake, prepare, bake and cool according to the direction on box.
Poke holes 1" apart in top of cake using a handle from a wooden spoon.
Puree thawed strawberries with juice in a blender. Spoon evenly over the top of the cake allowing mixture to soak into the holes.
For topping, prepare pudding mix with the milk. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture. Spread over the cake. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
