1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 level tbsp. cocoa
pinch of salt
Mix ingredients. Add just enough cold water to make a smooth paste. Make sure to remove lumps. Then add more water (about 1 cup?) to make a thinner sauce. Place on medium high heat and stir often. let it boil and thcken to desired consistency. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 - 2 tbsp. butter. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
