2 cups Mozzarella cheese part skim (set aside 2/3 cup for top)
1-8oz. package (1/3 less fat) cream cheese
1 cup parmesan cheese
2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup light Hellman’s mayonnaise
2 cloves garlic
3 Tablespoons basil
1 ½ Tablespoons garlic salt
2 tsp. black pepper
1 package frozen chopped spinach
Soften cream cheese and add all ingredients in and mix. When mixed well, break apart the block of spinach (note: it’s best to run it under warm water, pulling it apart) then wring the spinach out and then add to mixture.
Pour mixture into desired greased baking dish. Spread 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese on top until lightly covered. Sprinkle basil on top.
Cover with foil, bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until dip is bubbling and cheese is melted.
Serve with your favorite bread or tortilla chips.
