1 cup sugar
2 heaping tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. cocoa
dash of salt
2 eggs
(Leave out cocoa for a creme pie, such as banana cream or coconut cream)
Mix all of the ingredients until smooth. Add 2 1/2 cups milk. Stir. Cook, stirring constantly until very hot and consistency becomes thicker. Take off of the burner. Add vanilla and 1 tbsp. butter. Mix until buter is melted. Pour into pre-baked pie shell. refrigerate.
